Quenching + Coconut Curls Curl-Defining Shampoo

Quenching Coconut Curls Shampoo works great on my dry, curly hair. It helps keep frizziness at bay which is a huge problem with my hair. It cleans without trying to be extra. I have thin hair and this product does not weigh down my hair so I can put curl cream on it without it looking limp. But, at the same time, it is moisturizing to the scalp. Smells great, but the scent doesn't hang around to compete with your favorite fragrance which I like.

I love this shampoo. I have had natural curl but had lot the curl with age. So I saw this and when it says curls, I got my curls back. No more curling iron!

I have wavy hair that tends to get dry/coarse easily with the wrong products. I have used this for years, and when I try another brand I always come back to this. It is gentle, smells wonderful, and keeps my waves soft and flexible.

I'd never tried this particular OGX shampoo before. I've always been a big fan of the argan line. This shampoo smells fabulous but it's not too strong. It smells like coconut for sure but there's something else in the scent that makes it delicious. I don't have curly hair, I have wavy hair. So I can't attest to the curl defining, but it does help with any dry ends. More importantly to me, it's fantastic at detangling my longer, thicker, hair. It's not drying and a little goes a long way.

I've never tried this shampoo before so I didn't know what to expect. The scent was barely detectable but my hair came out squeaky clean so I can over-look the scent. It's reasonably priced compared to most grocery store shampoos I would buy it again and the conditioner as well because it gives me nicer results!

I actually ordered this once elsewhere, and then canceled it because of negative reviews. I struggle to find ANY shampoo and conditioners that work well on my perimenopausal, thick, coarse, suddenly wavy to the point of almost being curly middle aged hair. Shampoos often just feel like they are stripping my hair and no conditioner ever seems to be enough. I don't have the time or the patience for the curly girl stuff. I just want to wash/conditioner/air dry and have soft hair. But the bottom few inches of my hair get too dry and brittle and never feel soft. If it smells bad, I'm not going to use it even if it leaves my hair soft (I'm talking to you Suave Hydra gloss). Coconut is usually not a deal breaker for me, but it's also not necessarily my favorite scent as it can be overpowering. So the thing about this stuff, the predominant smell that comes through for my sensitive nose is the citrus oil. I smell mostly orange when I use this and it's not an overwhelming scent. I felt like the shampoo and conditioner both did a fairly good job moisturizing my hair, and my hair felt soft afterwards----but I think I might have also used this brands moisturizing milk afterwards. (Just FYI, their air dry curl cream is a pretty good product as well.) This won't be my holy grail product, but then again, I've given up on finding one. But I can see myself buying this again in the future---maybe. I cycle through 4-5 different brands at the same time so I rarely ever empty a bottle of anything before I get tired of it and move on to something else.

I love the product but was dissatisfied with the purchase. I ordered the 19.5 oz and received the 13 oz., so I didn't receive the one correct one I ordered.

FOUR TIMES NOW, I DIDN'T RECEIVE THE EXACT "OGX" PRODUCT I ORDERED. PRE-SALE OF 50% MORE SHAMPOO FOR 19.5 OUNCES OF"OGX" SHOULD BE A NOTIFICATION FOR ORDER OR RE-ORDER...TIS IS MY "CUSTOMER" OPINION!
