CAP Barbell Olympic Weight Set, 110 lbs.

I've been using this for about six months now. They've held up beautifully and gotten me pretty far in my fitness journey. Putting it together was a little tricky, but not impossible. Just know you're going to need to get a little meaner with it than you may expect.

I had this barbell set for months and it's still goin great , the assembly was easy , so for those who had issues assembling it , my opinion , you don't know how to hammer bolts into a barbell. The max weights it holds is 300 lbs so it's great for starters or just wanna stay in shape at home

This is an excellent value for your money! Two 25lb plates alone would be half the price of this set! The only downside is - on some of the plates, there might be some imperfections on finish [some spots missing protective coating (I hope it doesn't rust in the long run as a result), on some plates there are "drips" of coating, rough edges on some edges of plates]. These don't bother me enough to exchange; they still serve their purpose well. Also note, in the instructions to put the barbell together - they want you to use a rubber mallet to drive the 4 little "tapered" metal cylinders to join the 3 pieces of barbell together. I had the absolute hardest time getting them to even go a little bit in with the rubber mallet; they were going nowhere, even though i ensured the tapered end was inserted. I was seriously considering contacting the manufacturer to replace what could possibly be defective pieces. However, after much frustration, I resorted to using a hammer and it worked just fine (with still a lot of effort)! I was just careful about not banging the hammer into the bar itself. So that's my tip for anyone that has the same difficulty!

Nice starter set! I workout every other day with this as part of a lifting routine. I'm happy with it and will get some additional weights soon. The empty bar weighs 30lbs so be ready for that.

It fit what I was looking for along with what I was hoping to spend. After reading quite a few reviews along with product comparisons I found this the way to go. Upon receiving the item at home I was very excited to put it to use which of course I did. Without a doubt, money well spent. Great product that will outlast me. Overall, very happy with all things involved in this transaction.

I like what I ordered but I did NOT like it being dropped in the driveway in the rain when we have a covered front porch that has the gate opened. It was hard to move when the cardboard was wet.

The only reason I give it 4 stars is because of the assembly process, which was a bit complicated; inserting the pins into the bar when you're putting it together can be difficult. Otherwise, I loved the finish, and the product feels of good quality. The weights are solid and not plastic.

The weights are a good separation, so you can get the right amount of resistance. The bar itself weighs 35lbs to start you off. The most difficult part was the assembly because it comes shipped in 3 pieces, but once you line up the holes to drive the pins, it's not too bad. I used a straw to insert through the holes while I lined it up so I could see when it shifted on me (hard to see on the bottom side when you're working from a top angle). Using a soft mallet as suggested did not work so well, it destroys the mallet surface. I recommend using a regular hammer and just lightly tapping the pins into place until you drive them in far enough to catch both cylinders. Once they're in place and not rotating anymore, you can drive them the rest of the way with harder hits. Using this method worked a lot better than the instructions.

if you are looking for a good standard weight set and don't mind rolling the stoppers on and off the ends every time you want to adjust the weight then it's pretty good.

Would probably be great if I could get it out together. The pins simply do not go in at all, they are too big. I also can't return it because the box was destroyed when it was delivered.
