THAT IT'S GOOD FOR SENIORS THAT HAVE A HARD TIME GETTING TO A STANDING POSITION WHEN THE SEAT IS TOO LOW.
this seat is so easy to put on. it's excellent for all people, it makes it easier to get up and down. it has made it much easier for my special needs daughter.
This toilet seat has been a dream come true! Had left knee surgery four weeks ago! And this makes getting up and down from the toilet so much easier! THANK YOU!!!
The seat riser functions as described. It. was easy to install and has been a major aide to my recovery after surgery. I can safely use the toilet instead of a bedside commode that has to be emptied by someone else.
ease of installation yes sometimes it moves because i have to get close to it with a wheel chair and the lock hits the persons leg.so i would suggest one with side locks.the plastic is kinda of cubersome and bulky to sit on. so it was a bad choice for my needs
There is an area where urine can flow into causing the urine to go onto the floor. The area where you sit doesn't allow enough. room to sit back far enough to keep the urine from hitting the edge and this leaking outside of ring.
Quality product. Installs easily (I was able to do while standing with a walker) The opening is extremely narrow. The plastic is very thick. Almost impossible for a larger person to wipe themselves. Also the riser doesn't allow for all the urine to be contained.
I bought this item because it was advertised as being compatible with both standard and extended-bowl toilets. It was easy to install but it tended to move around a lot when I sat on it. When I went to use it, I found that its opening was just the size of a standard unit. Thus, since i am a large and tall person, I discovered that everything that i needed to use would not fit on/into it. However, after adjusting myself to what seemed a workable position, i began to urinate. Unfortunately, instead of going into the bowl it went onto my legs and the floor. Later, when I tried to do a %232, my system also generated a %231, which made another mess. I then removed it. Sadly, given its intended purpose, it is nonreturnable. Therefore, rather than throwing it away, I donated it to a local senior-assistance center so it can be given to someone it fits and needs one. It is a poorly designed item and is incompatible with large people and extended-bowl toilets. Don't waste your time and money by buying one.
Seat is very small, particularly for a large person. Looks like a kid's potty. I did not even take it out of the box. One look told me all I needed to know. Unfortunately, it is a non-refundable item, so I've basically tossed 40 bucks down the drain. I'll donate it to Goodwill. I learned a lesson. When buying personal items from WM, watch for the small print at the bottom of the description to see if the item is non-returnable.
This item is not safe. I purchased it for my father who had a total hip replacement surgery one week ago. My father almost fell off the toilet seat and he was so scared and refused to use it. I called Walmart.com and they told me that it is not a returnable item. It was my mistake that I didn't see that it is not returnable otherwise I would never purchase it. Despite it is not safe, walmart.com told me that it is not a returnable item and gave me a $15 coupon for next purchase. This toilet seat is $41 and it is a total lost for me. I've learned my lesson and I will be careful when I purchase a third party item from walmart.com.
