The Grip installs easily and can be removed and replaced if you're not happy with the first location. I have not tested pulling on it suddenly or forcefully, but I find it very beneficial for maintaining balance while moving about in the shower. Also, it looks natural and attractive in my 6 ft. wide, vinyl walk-in shower, and the $10 price was very reasonable for a sturdy, useful, safety product.

My shower is fiber glass and this product sticks to it really well. I wiped with alcohol first and dried well then put on the bar pressing on it as I moved the lever. I know it is supposed to be only for keeping your balance but I used it on one side to lower myself into the tub and it didn't budge a bit. I'm ordering another for another place on my shower.

I bought two of the grips. I put one on the counter near the toilet and one on the bathtub. The grips hold very strong and have made getting around the bathroom so much easier and safer. They do need a flat, smooth surface so don't expect them to work over tile that is not smooth.

I bought this for our new home, as we cannot drill into the new bathtub tiles. I bought 2 of them based on all the excellent reviews and I have to say, these really hold to tiles and do not come off. They were for my elderly mother of 85 who needs solid support and I have to say, if you're looking for anything, go with these, they are the best product you will ever find. Thank you Walmart! I would have given higher than 5 stars if it was available.

Ordered two of these to help get a whirlpool tub into place. They attached easily to the sides and held the weight. They'll be used in the tub as armrests. Shipping to my local WalMart store was quick.

These grips are GREAT. I have a 90 year old Mother who has difficulty getting into the shower. I put this grips up and now she can get into the show and she feels safe getting in and getting out.

My Mother in-law had a knee replacement and needed assistance with facilitating a safe shower experience. The Safe-Er Bathtub assist bar was easy to install, gave a firm handhold and may be removed after fully recovered. The perfect solution for her, she was thrilled.

After my operation this was just what I needed. Works wonderful and has a small price and was delivered fast.

Bought two of these for install on the bath tub for the wife. I read the reviews about poor holding power but decided to try them. They work and hold just as well as another similar device costing twice as much. Not better mind you but every bit as well. I think the secret is to clean the surface very well and dont expect them to hold forever with out being reseated once in a while. If you need a permanent installation then you should get a fixture that is mounted with screws.
