Carmex Classic Medicated Lip Balm Jars, Lip Protectant, 0.25 oz Each, 3 Count

I was disappointed to not find this at my local Walmart. It was the main reason I went shopping. I found this online when I got home, and saw it had free shipping. I ordered it because it was my only choice. It's the same Carmex I have been buying for almost 50 years. I like that it comes in a jar that tightly seals. Sometimes I carry it in my pocket. There is nothing I find works better on chapped lips.

Carmex lip balm has been a staple for me since my military service. As a boot, the D.I. ordered us recruits to buy some at our first PX visit. I've been using it ever since. Winter, spring, summer, or fall, I always have a glass container handy. It's not just a lip balm. It has countless other uses in the field and as a civilian. Carmex ranks third behind my keys and wallet. Don't leave home without it, man!

This product is hard to find in the small jars. It is convenient for me to put in my purse, on the nightstand, in the pocket of your car or near your favorite seat in the den. I use this product year round and it feels cool on the lips.

I love how much this has helped my lips! I have year round allergies which leads to my dry chapped lips . This has made my lips soft and hydrated like no other lip balm. I absolutely recommend Carmex to anyone who needs a simple yet effective lip balm.

This balm works wonders on your lips but also when your fingers or your toes get chaffed due to the cold weather or too much hand washing. It also works great when the tip of your nose gets dried up due to the cold and the skin cracks open. You feel relief almost instantly after you apply it.

I am 67. i have used this product since I was 13. I like the carmex in jars as it has a more soothing consistency for my lips and moisturizes better than the other lip balms in tubes. Carmex's price has been reasonable during my adult life. I recommend Carmex!

This is my go-to and not the waxy chapsticks. in winters especially, this is the best product to use on skin and that's not just for your lips. Yes, you can get the chapstick version Blistex packaging for the lips but I use this round little ointment that comes with a twist-off lid for it my face and hands, feet or anywhere that's extra dry in winters and you don't need to smear it - a little goes a long ways. I love the thickness and the way my skin soaks it up and the smell is a tiny bit menthal-y soothing cooling natural and not perfume-y. I feel like it is partly a natural medical ointment as well as chapstick. It has some bees wax. I like this way better than vaseline as far as consistency. Also great for if your fingers has gone into that "cracked split" mode in the cold - this feels to me a bit medicinal without having to get neosporin. I use it mainly for lips, but in winters or when we are outdoors in the winter elements, we use it for our face, hands, and anywhere that needs extra barrier from the cold winds.

This is all I use for years!! However, it is getting more difficult in finding Carmex in the little pots. I don't really like the stick for. Or the squeezable tubes but that is all I have been able to buy for several months UNTIL I saw that I was able to order Carmex in the little pots!!! Plan to stock up on these.

We get dry lips, especially when our allergies are starting up or in the winter time. This is perfect for moisturizing our lips and helping to heal our lips. As a little bit on my finger and then put it on my lips.

Would give a 5, BUT apparently these are a new version of the ACTUAL original carmex... Which came in a heavy jar NOT made of cheap light plastic and was also ACTUALLY full.... not half full with the jar bottom raised to rip you off. Its clearly not as strong as the OG carmex I loved so much. I miss those ... And am now paying 3x more for 3x LESS chapstick that is also less effective than the formula used to be. I guess even chapstick/lip balm is not safe from "they just dont make it like they used to" Late 90s/early 2000s carmex jars were indestructible, effective for keeping lips healthy, and would last for EVER. Bring those back and I'll buy again but this is an insult.
