This magnifying glass is great for those who need a little extra for reading or sewing. It is lightweight easy to put around your neck and adjust on your chest. You have hands-free to hold your book or do what you wanna do with sewing or other arts and crafts.

As I age, I am finding it harder and harder to see crochet stitches as I work on a project, especially black yarn. This magnifier with led lights has been a game changer. The magnification is perfect with a little extra magnification spot in the glass. The light is powerful enough to see that black yarn, too. I felt a little foolish wearing it around my neck, but it works so well, its utility far surpassed my embarrassment. Highly recommend for crafters.

I bought this initially for myself as a crocheter so I could see my stitches more clearly, especially using dark yarn. I love the lightet feature for this and for threading needles! It worked so well, I bought another for my elderly mother who can't see up close anymore without glasses. She said the magnification worked really well for reading even without her glasses.

My father is 94 years old and it helps to have a magnifying glass for reading. This unit has the added bonus of a light! He likes the larger size, and he also likes that this unit has a support “lanyard” so the magnifying glass can sit on his chest to read and he doesn't have to hold it! We are very happy with this purchase!

I LOVE this magnifying glass and it's so useful! I use it to inspect and remove splinters for my kids, it has a little string on it so you can wear it around your neck and rest on your chest to do sewing or crafts. It is very handy and was a good value!

It does everything it says it will do. Remember to have batteries, but at least they're the "common" AA kind! They were easy to install, the neck strap really does work, the magnification took some getting used to since eyes work differently, but they do adjust and the light is a great help.

I couldn't see the small parts inside my new hearing aids to perform routine maintenance, and this inexpensive, lighted magnifying glass provides ideal magnification and ease of use. My spouse offered me his much more expensive stand-based lighted magnifying glass that he uses for hobby electronics work, but it requires sitting at a desk with a dedicated workspace. With this one, I can work anywhere, use a comfy chair, suspending this lighted magnifying glass from its cord around my neck. It has an arm that holds it in place at the perfect distance from my chest to look down through the magnifying glass with both of my hands free. The only negative is that it comes sealed in a clamshell type of plastic that lies directly against the surface of the glass, and I scratched the glass while trying to open the packaging with scissors. This didn't make it unusable but I recommend opening it carefully along the edges of the packaging.

This is the second of these magnifiers that I have bought I was using the first one and a very dear friend of mine was so impressed by it. I let her use it, and she was so tickled by its magnification and ease of use that I gave it to her so that left me without one. I'm so glad to have this one and I keep it near me all the time.

My eyesight is poor, so I purchased this for my projects. However, the magnifier is too heavy, making it difficult to use when I need both hands. Aside from the weight issue, it works well.
