Casabella Flat Mop Bucket System

I've looked at so many of these, and read so many reviews. I really needed the dirty water to stay separate because this time of year, my dogs bring in a lot of mud on their paws and only dry them inconsistently and only when I'm the one letting them in. I already have a mop bucket that you manually twist to wring, but tired of the water getting dirty immediately. Not with this mop. It came today and I tried it right away. It's definitely a wet mop, as it only wrings once when pulling from the clean water...but that works well for me and my vinyl plank floors to get the dirt up. I add a little nice smelling liquid soap and the whole room smells clean as well as looking clean. The other mop i was just happy with it not smelling or looking like it was mopped with dirty water! Also I appreciate how I can clean right up against the wall, which my other mop cannot do. I also like that I can leave some clean water in the bucket for a quick clean up if needed. The bucket rim seems a bit thin, though I'm used to my other bucket which is pretty thick rimmed. At first I thought the lever to release clean water would be a pain, but I find that it's not at all, and even a bit satisfying to control the clean water use. The mop pad stays on well, and cleans very well. I didnt think that could be the case with my mud-printed floors. Every pass left the pad very dark with dirt, but each time it came back clean.

I fell in love with the Casabella flat mop bucket system so buying more of these mop pad refills was a no- brainer. I’ve used other flat mops with their own refills but the Casabella pads are far superior in their cleaning ability! I’m very impressed and really hope the bucket holds up over time. So far, so good, but I’ve only owned it for a couple of months.

This system works exactly as advertised. Makes mopping floors almost fun.

The pads are a bit tough to switch out, and the mop sometimes gets stuck when dipping in the bucket, kinda have to do it at an angle. Otherwise easy to use. Also did wish I could lock the mop head

System works great, but mop handle broke within 3 months of use. Can't get a replacement mop/head - so you have to repurchase the whole system.

The first issue i noticed was that you have to flip the head both ways and dip it in the water twice in order to to get the entire pad wet/cleaned. The second and biggest issue is the fact that everything is made of plastic, I started having issues within 2 weeks of the knob slipping when trying to refill the clean water section. Now the plastic knob has cracked twice, I've attempted to glue it in hopes that would help, but unfortunately, I now have a completely useless mob bucket. This was purchased in late July, I would assume it would have lasted longer than 3 months. Now I'm out $40 and need a new, better system.

I really wanted this mop and bucket system, but it never really worked right for me. I picked it up the other day and the top came off, dislodging the pipe system, so it is broken
