Product great shipping trash!

Nicole December 30, 2025

Had to have this item shipped because the local store didn't have it in stock no big deal. Walmart shipped it. It arrived in a box with no packing peanuts or extra material to keep the container from moving so the plastic container is completely destroyed. At least the lid so pods were everywhere in the box. A lot of them popped liquid all over the box was going to do a return or a refund to exchange for a new container but to do that I would have to drive 45 minutes minimum to a local FedEx store or I could have them pick it up from my house FedEx, but I'd have to print and pay for the labels. The product itself is great. The shipping that it came in very frustrating so now instead of a refund or an exchange I am going to salvage what pods I can out of this and chalk it up as a loss again recommend the product, but the shipping was god-awful.

High Surfactant Efficiency with Realistic Limitations on Carbonized Soils Overall Assessment I have utilized the majority of available detergent formats and consistently return to these pods because they offer the most robust cleaning power currently on the residential market. Regarding standard organic debris and protein degradation, their performance is objectively superior. The Discrepancy in Marketing vs. Reality However, I find the commercial depictions regarding "burnt-on" messes to be somewhat hyperbolic. While the detergent is highly effective on the planar surfaces of my cookware, it consistently fails to achieve total delamination of carbonized residues on the curved sections of my older pans. I have subjected specific pieces to several consecutive wash cycles; although a significant portion of the soil eventually yields, the residues on the curves remain persistent. Final Verdict In my experience, achieving a completely clear surface on cookware with high-adhesion "burnt" spots still necessitates manual mechanical intervention. While these pods minimize the overall labor required for the bulk of the load, the "commercial results" for scorched pans, in my case, remain an aspirational claim rather than a consistent outcome of the wash cycle. I recommend them for their general surfactant and proteolytic efficiency, provided one maintains realistic expectations regarding the necessity of occasional manual scrubbing

I was having issues with residue on my dishes and decided to try Cascade Platinum Plus because it claimed to clean the dishwasher filter, which if it was dirty, may have been causing the residue. And sure enough, it worked! It took a few washes to totally eliminate the residue. I'm very happy with this product.

how about Cascade number one cleaning dishwasher liquid, One pod does the job? hard to get used to all the higher prices. I guess it cost about the same as the rest. y'all sure did get it here in a hurry. you do most of the time. good household items to you plus I also buy their items to clean the dishwasher and my garbage disposal are very reliable. product for home use. very good smell. I would recommend it to a friend. overall I think it is better than the other brands my opinion! I also bought me some Cascade rinse had Walmart cash on in it. I'm not the dishwasher of the house that I have not heard any complaints about water spots so it must work good. that's it

Great product- best one

Ashley June 9, 2026

Cascade Platinum Plus has honestly been a step up compared to other dishwasher detergents I've used. With other brands, I was constantly dealing with residue buildup and a filter that would clog way too fast, which meant more cleaning and maintenance than I wanted. Since switching to this one, that problem has basically disappeared. What stands out most is how consistently clean the dishes come out. Even things like baked-on grease and dried food don't need pre-scrubbing, and everything comes out looking shiny instead of cloudy or streaky. The dishwasher itself also seems to stay cleaner overall, especially the filter, which used to be a constant issue for me. Another small but noticeable thing is the scent—dishes don't come out smelling harsh or chemical-heavy. Instead, they just smell clean and fresh. Overall, it feels like a more efficient, low-maintenance option that actually delivers on the “sparkling clean” promise without extra work on my end.

The product is fine; the shipping/handling was not

Mel December 5, 2025

Overall, these pods do well with white residue other brands just can’t remove. I’d been testing the smaller versions of these, in the pouch, before splurging on a Big Bertha size. The pods, themselves, work great—when shipped in that small pouch rather than a larger container like this one. It arrived leaking at the top, even with the sealed handles still attached. The shipping box had splashes of wet patches along its inside that didn’t soak through to the outside; there was no packaging around the product. Several pods were either partially popped, oozing out or punctured and needed to be reluctantly thrown out. The entire inside of their container was wet and syrupy with leaked chemicals. The majority may still be usable; I relocated most of them to a different container until it were full. I’d hate to toss them all out, for such an extremely expensive item, and Walmart won’t issue me a refund for them being damaged, unless I return them as well. Why would they want a banged up, and faulty, product back is beyond me. It’s not like they can dry them off, individually, and put them back on the shelves! …Or could they???

Walmart says his item is available. It still says it's available to pick up or for delivery but every time I get it for delivery they tell me it's unavailable. It's sold out at the store every single time now either they're not looking for it or it is actually sold out, but the website says it's available so how can I give you a good review if I could never get it?
