Case Logic VNB-217 17" Notebook Backpack

I always wanted a bag designed for techies because they can hold so much stuff while looking very streamlined and clean. The bag has an electric blue liner on the inside, which is a nice touch to the black & gray exterior. As far as capacity goes, this thing can hold A LOT without looking like there's stuff even in it. As a graduate student I hold a lot of gradets, papers, books, articles, and my 15in widescreen computer; so to have something able to accommodate all of that material is very nice. I used to use a messenger bag but it kept feeling like it dug into my neck. The design and the cushioning of the backpack distributes the weight extremely well, and it doesn't feel like I'm carrying bricks. If you like the sleek streamlined look over whatever is in style now, I recommend getting this backpack!

My new HP 17.3 laptop fits perfect with lots of room for my laptop cooler and anything else needed. Compartments are spacious and padded. Although Walmart sells backpacks in the stores, you always get a better buy on line. Delivery was prompt.

This is the perfect size for my 15.6 laptop. I love that it has a separate zipper area just for the laptop. Other bags I looked at did not. It's slim and the straps are cushy. I am happy with it.

I purchased this laptop backpack for my son for college and he loves it! I had shopped around, and this backpack was much nicer quality and a lot roomier than several more expensive ones I looked at. The laptop compartment is nicely padded, and there is plenty of room for books and other items. Great backpack for the money, and as always, Walmart.com provided quick shipping and excellent service.

This laptop backpack has plenty of space and pockets to store other electronics along with my laptop. It has enough space to hold my laptop, tablet, and multiple chargers and accessories. The case is well padded to protect all of the electronics and is well built.

This laptop backpack fits my notebooks, my 17" laptop, and a couple of books easily. The place for the laptop is roomy as well as the other pocket that is meant for books and notebooks as well. It fits comfortably on my back without struggling to get my arms in the straps. Overall this was a great buy. Hopefully I won't have to buy this again, but I would in a heartbeat.

Returned a different Case Logic case, as it was a bit difficult to get my laptop in and out. When I saw this case, I had to give a chance, and glad I did! There are 2 different areas where I can choose to put my laptop, and both open wide enough to put laptop in with ease. There are also other zippered pockets where I can store paperwork, cables/cords and other supplies. Wonderful purchase, and can't beat the price. This can be used as a backpack, but also has a small handle at the top of the bag, which you can use to carry it with your hand.

I bought this backpack for traveling with my laptop. I am in virtual college and take classes in the summer and am planning a couple vacations. This backpack fits my laptop and accessories, plus my large planner, due to my schedule as well as my kids, very comfortably. My laptop is secure with the padding in the backpack. I will still have room for my binder, and any other things I need to put in there. The straps are comfortable as far as I know now. If anything changes once I actually really put the backpack through the ringer, I will let ya know, but for now, it was a great, inexpensive purchase!

My HP Pavilion 17-E183NR 17.3" laptop fits well. Could use a little more padding at the bottom, but I can add that. Adequate padding on back and sides. Has only one mesh exterior pocket on the left side; is too shallow for carrying tall water bottles or umbrellas securely. One large interior space in the back for the laptop (about 17 1/2" tall at edges, closer to 18" tall in center), one wider interior space in the middle for books which holds my 2" thick textbook with room to spare in front and top, and one interior space (about 14 inches tall) in front of that with pockets for business cards, pens, etc. There's a small front pocket about 6" square that zips open on right side rather than at top, not sure its intended function... maybe ear buds? It has no front padding. Overall good value, lightweight and easy to carry. IMO, not enough padding for rough use or dropping, but very good for carrying laptop around campus, to and from car and classes.

Purchased and returned several day packs before finding this one. Sturdy shape (not saggy like others) and nice material -- not shiny, seems very durable, very lightweight. First section takes almost any size laptop. Second section is high capacity -- tall and expandable, can carry lots of stuff (for me, lots of groceries). Third section is deep and has three pockets, but they're narrow and shallow and have weak elastic along the top, so things tend to spill out when you lay the pack flat. Straps are nicely padded and comfortable, even when the pack is heavy. Overall, this is a long-term keeper.
