Casio GShock Men's Digital Watch with Black Risin Band - DW9052-1CWT

Tremendous watch for the price Walmart was offering it. Basic and minimal functions, but still a great time piece. Negatively display can be difficult to read in certain lighting conditions, but I'm not bothered enough by that to not give this a 5 star rating.

I have 7.5" wrists and this watch fits great for me its more of a mid size GShock just right, not oversized and flashy and not too small. The negative display fits the dark stealthy look and the legibility is pretty good only downside is the light feature is on the weaker side because it only illuminated the digits instead of the whole backround, which is expected on a polarized display. The price is amazing considering theese watches were Military issued to Navy divers.

Great value for a tough G Shock The DW9052 is a solid, dependable watch. I usually don't go for negative displays but for $23 how do you pass up a G Shock? This one is actually pretty easy to read even with the negative screen. It's rugged, reliable, and a great deal. I'd definitely grab more if I come across another like this at Walmart. The item was ready for curbside pickup and the process was quick and easy. No hassle at all. Highly recommend.

gshocks are great watches and nearly impossible to break. they're fantastic watches. this one was a crazy good deal as it normally is $60 and was on sale for $23. highly recommend gshocks. I still have one from over 20 years ago and it works like I bought it yesterday.

The G-Shock DW-9052 is a retro G-Shock icon. One of the four G-Shocks that have a NATO Stock Number, this model has a beautiful negative display with a matching colorway. Indoors, it can be a bit difficult to read at times due to the negative display, but that's a minor issue. There is no world time function with this G-Shock, just the basic alarm, stopwatch, and timer functions. The band is also very comfortable. It has been featured in the movies Empire State and Twisters and is used by new divers at the Navy Diving and Salvage Training Center.

I have 24 casio and g shock watches from low to about 150.00 this watch cost me about 24and some change love the watch not that big but not small fits great on wrist simple to really highly recommend

Amazing deal, on sale for under $30. It would be perfect, if only you could get them shipped when they are on sale. It is very frustrating to see the deal online and not be able to purchase it for direct shipping. This probably would not be as big of a deal, but I live a minimum of an hour away from any Walmart. This was definitely worth planning to go pick it up.

Price was great. Look and fit is as expected for a Casio G- Shock. Band is adjustable and plenty of leeway. The main issue with this model is being able to SEE the time. The gold numbers are not bright. You have to tilt the watch with your wrist. At night in the car seeing the time or a stopwatch such as for timing watering in the yard, or anything else, requires using the watch illumination light. And we know how long those watch likes last. Great value from price. Less value from being able to see what you wear a w watch for. Bottom line in a couple of years in use (or in a drawer) when the light stops working you'll be wearing it out driving at night going someplace and need to pull over under some business's artificial light to see if you are going to be on time or late.

As others have mentioned, it really is hard to read this negative display at most angles and indoors. Was $25 on sale so why not? Its a G Shock..and can be modded

My only real complaint is with the lack of contrast between the display background and the numeral display. Almost impossible to read indoors without using the illumination button. The time /date windows are very small as are the numerals. The watch may be well made and the price very reasonable,but if you can't read it, it is of no value to me. I do not recommend.
