Nostalgia got the better of me and I decided to treat myself to a childhood favorite, a baby G. I like this ($50) black watch, but I did not expect the material to be SHINY and glossy. It's a keeper for me, but be forewarned, it is not matte. I also like the aluminum tin casing it arrived in.

I wish the backlight wasn't a led white but more of a yellow to be easier on the eyes but besides that this g baby lives up to my expectations. I always wanted a g baby as a pre teen and teenager but money was always tight growing. Gifting my 26 year old version of myself this watch was healing and I love it. Been using it for months and it deals with sweat, rain and me washing my face with it on nicely. I haven't dropped it in water yet and keep it out the bathroom when I shower to preserve its quality so I can't speak on how waterproof it is. The black %26 silver design matches the majority of my outfits and aesthetic. The little animals that pop up when you press the g to turn on the light is super cute. Overall it's a great budget sports watch for adults or teens. Beats a smart watch in a technology dominated society in my opinion..

I liked it well enough. Have had baby g in the past and have been very durable. The backlight does not stay on long enough for my needs.
