Superior quality ATF for older automatic transmissions. Currently using Castrol Transmax in a 1993 Dodge A518 automatic overdrive transmission which was rescued from a salvage yard. Changed filter and gasket and installed the Castrol Transmax. Over a period of 4 weeks the transmission's performance has greatly increased and shifts very positively and smoothly.

Smoother shifting and great protection. Though expensive at $27 each (though sooo much cheaper than having some garage do it), I did a fluid exchange with 3 of these in my 2012 Camry SE that had 118,000 miles on the original fluid. Gear shifts weren't bad before, but it's very noticeably better after the exchange.

Couldn't find all the gallons at any stores in my area.Got them all on clearance and no shipping next day .Wish I would have looked here first before driving around town.

I used this in my old 1st gen Dakota, had a hard 1-2 shift and after a 1 gallon drain and fill it has smoothed out. Have used Castrol in other older cars and they are still are still running, good stuff

Honda transmissions require frequent changes, which can be crazy expensive using honda fluid. This is the way I can afford to maintain my van because of inflation.
