How to fix stuck bolt? This PB Blaster works!

Fetam March 3, 2017

You may need to apply 1-3 times depending on level of bolt "stuckness" and it also helps if you can apply 6-12hrs apart from each application so it can soak in at the molecular level. Give it time to really do its job is what I find works the best. I've restored many an old VW bug with the aid of PB Blaster. Also have sprayed on my 97 Pathfinder tierods with a good 30min soak and worked perfect. If you use at home make sure the door and windows to house are closed. It will stink up the house something fierce.

Unsticks everything

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Man I put this s*it on everything lol. This stuff works great on anything that you need unstuck. It's only downfall is the smell, it lasts awhile and is very strong. Working indoors with it is very tricky.

Reliable Penetrant

ridwona_2014 October 15, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PB B'laster is a standard and effective product for freeing rusted or seized hardware. It successfully broke loose several extremely corroded fasteners on a recent project, performing reliably as expected. This product is a necessary tool for difficult mechanical work.

Blast off!!

mattw63_9984 September 22, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PB Blaster is the best way to loosen up rusty bolts, caps, and whatever else was long neglected and bonded over time. The drain cover in my basement was rusted to the pipe. Gave it a healthy spray of PB and 5 minute later it feels like I'm Hercules! This is a workshop staple for sure.

If it's stuck, this'll unstick it!

daniels467_2981 September 27, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a staple in my toolbox. I keep a can in each vehicle, and one in the camper. I much prefer this to other penetrants. I won't name them, but there is one in an orange can that's very expensive. I tried to use it thinking the cost would make it better and ended up shearing a sensor in an exhaust. I used PB B'laster and the other three came out no issues. Hands down the best penetrating spray on the market.

Great

erict55_1522 September 29, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After other lubricants failed, this one did the trick! Within minutes, I managed to loosen a stubborn bolt that hadn't budged since the car was made at the factory. This stuff is very versatile. I used it outdoors, no strong odor to worry about. Wish I had discovered this sooner! Can't beat the price.

Good

naynay313_2976 September 22, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PB B'laster is one of the few penetrants that actually does what it promises. I've used it on rusted bolts and frozen parts that WD-40 and other sprays couldn't touch, and with a little patience it usually breaks things loose. It seeps deep into threads, and once it works its way in, the parts move so much easier. It also leaves a slick film that keeps things lubricated afterward, which is a nice bonus. The downside is the smell it's pretty strong and the spray nozzle can be hit or miss. It's also not a magic fix; really seized parts sometimes need more than one application or extra help with heat or tools. But for the price and how well it works compared to regular sprays, it's a product I keep on hand and recommend if you deal with rusted or stuck hardware often.
