Prestone® Antifreeze & Coolant Tester

this is a low tech antifreeze tester that works. my dad had one and it worked great back in the 80's. if you want to know if your car engine is safe in cold weather do yourself a favor and buy this tool.

Just my opinion being a girl in all but being by myself and eating something like this it comes in pretty handy. Have used mine twice this winter already just to be on the safe side.

This was easy to understand easier to read cheap and necessity so your car don't mess up in the winter time but definitely recommend if you don't have one. You need to get one..

Seemed to work. Told me my coolant was good from -34 F to 265 F. Just to test it out, I used tap water and got no readings so I know at least it read something.

Very effective for the price. Fairly difficult to remove from the packaging but once out easy to use. Read the short instructions before using. The old used car I bought for my son had NO measurable antifreeze in it, evidently just water. Very important to know before an upcoming freeze.

Old fashioned by today's standards, but works perfectly well, is inexpensive and entirely adequate for the DIYer.

They last for a few years then the bulbs start to crack . Then it's time for a replacement. Works like it should. For the price it's fine.

Your delivery driver needs to fired, left my package at the end of my driveway in the grass, instructions clearly say leave package at front door. We live in the country, i had to go on an expedition hunt to find my package, basically he leaned out the door of his vehicle and just tossed out the door to land wherever.

This particular item is defective. The needle does not work in reading the temperature of the coolant. I would like my money back.

Prestone has horrible customer service. Ive called and left messages a couple times and emailed the company and have yet to receive a response. Give your money to a company that cares about their customers.
