Dont be intimidated by it. The plug in is probably just to the left of your steering wheel, not far back. Plug it in. Follow the instructions. Write down the codes it gives like P0060. look that up on the internet for your specific vehicle. BAM Bobs your uncle!!

Excellent buy. My story: Walmart helps me to live in a very remote location, Condon Oregon, with having money left over for other things. Our reason for moving here was not because we really wanted to but because of needing to care for my elderly in laws. But just as important is the ability to order and have quality products delivered. Most products available for delivery are same price as in store. Walmart is ahead of Amazon for me.

The instructions for this were extremely easy to follow. From the time I opened the box to the time I was reading the code was probably a span of less than ten minutes. I'm glad I decided to finally go ahead and get one of these for myself and would highly recommend everyone have one.

It was easy to use. The price was reasonable. My engine light came on I wanted to see if I coul get an idea of what it was. I need a new engine cap. That was the diagnosis. I ordered one just have to change it. I'll see what happens.

It's an obd 2 device for casual use not designed for professional applications has a lot of features for the money can clear codes this is useful if you diy a repair clear code if it comes back you will know if you need more work. I like it.

This computer really works. You just have to locate the OBD plug. The codes require lookup on the Internet and they are somewhat cryptic. The price was great though. Maybe I will buy the book of codes.

It lists all the codes, it seems, for my 2015 Honda Civic. There is more to the story - you need your own information for your car to fully interpret the codes.

The scanner is OK for the price. A lot of features was not supported and it given the wrong reading on the evap test. When I tested my Evap, it says it passed but it's also showing me a code P0444 so how can it pass if it has a code, O2 sensor test is not supported. I guess on older Vehicles but overall, I think it's a good product for basic job shooting

just quit working on second use. im going to exchange it to see if it was just fluke. First use it worked great. So when I exchange it I'll do another review.
