The manufacturer really missed an opportunity when they didn't call this stuff Cat Mace! Pros: It definitely repels cats. Cons: It also repels humans for the first half hour or so. A little bit goes a LONG way. I bought this to use on our Christmas tree, and I may have /slightly/ overdone the first application, because other cat repellents I've tried had to be applied by the bucketful. Not this one, though! For that first half hour, everyone in the house complained that their eyes stung if they got too close to the tree. I was much more careful with it after that, and the cats still want absolutely nothing to do with the tree. Mission accomplished, albeit with a little friendly fire in the process!
works very well with my old 10 year cat who came to me very set in her ways. the odor on items I sprayed work very well to keep her off for quite a long time before I have to respray.
Must follow the instructions and repeat often. Once it wears off my cats are back to their bad habits. They have a scratching post but still prefer my couch 😕 I have added the plastic wrap for better protection but cats want to take it off. So I am spraying and will need a bigger bottle. Smells awful but that’s the idea and does not discolor my furniture.
Did not work for me. I guess I have kitty's that is immune to it.
Can not use the bottle upside down to get to lower levels of furniture. Did not keep the cats from wanting/ trying to scratch the new furniture. I will try a different product.
For starters, this was supposed to have a strong "orange bitter" smell. Well, it was just like industrial strength vinegar, instead, and no one in the house could really tolerate it. Before we got a good whiff, we sprayed a chair across the room--our cat in question (18 yrs.) immediately started to sneeze and wheeze. We carried him into the back of the house and got him some fresher air through the sliding glass door screen! This spray was way too strong for him! We should've just stuck to the Four Paws deterrent...works just as well and smells much nicer. Of course, our store was out, so we ordered 2 bottles of this. We opened 1, only, but according to the phone tree, we cannot, now, return any of it! Lesson learned: stay away from this spray!
nice trick photo they put a large cat by this bottle so by looking at the adversement you say hey that's a fair amount for that price when you need to read the ounces it's a little tiny itty bitty bottle even a kitten would look extra large next to this bottle what a joke talk about fake advertisement
This spray is very easy to use but doesn't work at all to deter scratching. Save your money. Unfortunately you'll just need to figure something else out.
the statue of this is so sickening I can't spray it. it smelled all day long from one coating. and I'm supposed to spray this on four times a day for two weeks? not a chance.
it smells the house up dont work at all
