I own a cat sanctuary. The size of the bag is helpful as I use this food for free feeding and then supplement with other wet or medicated foods as needed. Overall it's a good value for the price and the cats seem to like it and it doesnt upset their stomachs like the purina foods. It does need more nutrients and it is not very high in protein, overall 7 out of 10, would recommend.

for the size of the bag you get you get your money's worth and more the color is a little different it's one color instead of about three different colors into 30 lb bag but the cats love it anyway and that's the most important thing it's definitely worth buying

At first i didn't like that they change things up! The kibbles was all of a sudden humongous. I guess they received a lot of complaints, because now the kibbles are way smaller, how they're supposed to be. Now my cat and kittens can enjoy them again. Glad you guy's listened. Thank you!!

Special Kitty Gourmet Formula Seafood Blend 16 lb bag is a good value for the multi-cat household. It's a close second to the name brand equivalent seafood brand but at a lower cost. Both our indoor kitties and the outdoor feral cats seem to enjoy it. One note, the pieces of dry food in this variety are larger than other varieties offered by Special Kitty. So, if you have smaller kitties, add water to soften it a bit for them.

This cat food in this size bag was great. Unfortunately on this order they changed the formula to the same brown as shown on larger bag. I don't care what they tell me but its not the same. Cats sniff and walk away. The multi colored kibble was far better. This is a waste of money so I'm having to go back to Meow Mix. Even the feral cats won't touch it. Its really a shame but not wasting any more on this stuff. ):

Has artificial colors even though the picture says it doesn't. Used to get the 44 lb for my cats with no artificial colors. They have been out of stock of the 44 lb I got the smaller bag so I didn't have to change their diet and upset their digestion. This other recipe gave my cats diarrhea and coasted them to throw up.

the reason I put a one star on there is because I ordered this over a week ago and have not received it but I have ordered it several times and it's normally fine but for some reason I've gone from one location to another to another on an online order and still haven't received it after it was promised for several days just found out that I'm going to have to wait a couple more I've got about 30 cats out here starving to death for Rescue and have gone through all of my cat's food some of my human food trying to feed these animals so that's why I'm not happy seem to have problems with their drivers to deliver

did not get it made to wait till 12:30 AM on Sunday morning wasted to hole day on Saturday waiting for this and do not want my items delivered at 10:00 PM at night .. my items do not need to be left out all night long so someone can take it ,I do not care if you take a picture of it stating that it was there.... no deliveries should be done past 8:00 PM unless you contact the the customer and ask if it is fine to make a late delivery so people do not have to waist are time waiting and then not get it.

My cats were happy with the small multicolor kibble food. I ordered another bag on December 31. I ordered the 44 lbs. To my surprise, I opened the bag and it was large brown kibbles. I was disappointed. I gave it to my cats, and stray cats, and I knew they were going to hate it. They sniffed it, and walked away. I am disappointed in how they changed their product. Please pay attention to the bag, because even though it says seafood, its just brown and not colorful like before. I did call the bag number to complaint and I'm returning the bag.

this is normt the same food that comes in the other sizes. it's a cheap crappy kind cats will not eat. just got the 35 pound bag before this. they live that stuff and it is completely different looking. don't understand why they are trying to sell a crappy low quality kind in the largest bags.
