(2 pack) Special Kitty Clumping Clay Cat Litter, Fresh Scent, 20 lbs Jug

I have used this litter for years and I loved it, the 3 cats loved it….my most recent order is TERRIBLE. I’m assuming they’ve changed something because the dust this creates when pouring, scooping is unbearable. You literally can’t breathe. I have never experienced this from prior purchases. I will order this 1 more time and if it’s still this dusty, I’m going to look for something else. Disappointed, this was my go to litter. Bummer, please change the formula back.

I have had multiple cats over the past 20 years and have used this brand continuously, but my last purchase in Feb 2026 was a disappointment. Not only were the jugs different but so is the litter. It is very coarse, does not hold a clump, and extremely dusty! The dust lingers in room after cleaning the boxes and I have to turn on a fan to get rid of it. If the product was intentionally changed, please change it back as I plan on buying another brand.

The newest is awful . When they changed the container with a larger lid. They changed the quality of this litter So much dust and large clumps of clay rock This should be the part that they throw out or sale at the dollar store So disappointing I called costumer service also. She said she will report to quality We will see probably not

Just like the new 45lb boxes, the 20lb containers contain the new litter... and it's absolutely rubbish. Don't believe the "99% dust free" lie. The dust cloud was ridiculous, and it caused the cats to, quite literally, run from it. The little individual pieces of thy litter itself is NOT what it used to be. They're significantly larger and resemble regular clay litter. Clumping is pretty good, but that's a moot point, because the pieces are collectively too big to sift easily, so you spend twice the time you usually do in that department. It's like they mixed regular clay litter with the original formula scoopable/clumping litter. Ridiculous. Read the room (and reviews), Walmart! Your new litter sucks, and people will stop buying it. Whoever has the idea to change this stuff should have been fired yesterday!

This used to be my favorite litter and I would go out of my way to stick with it. They appear to have recently changed the formula. It no longer clumps well, it is not as fine, doesn’t smell as good, and does not last long at all. It creates a LOT more dust than it used to. They also raised the price for a product that is not even close to the same quality.

We've used this for years, and it's worked fine, but the last purchase was completely unusable. Both jugs contained litter that was the opposite of 99% dust free, as stated on the container. Each pour and each scooping created heavy clouds of dust that covered everything, like something out of "The Grapes of Wrath". I don't know what they did to the formula of this litter, but it's the worst I've ever seen for dust. The "99% dust free" claim is the epitome of false advertising.

Caused immediate upper respiratory distress, within a single day. Both cats, eyes were tearing, continuous sneezing, coughing and breathing difficulties. The amount of dust was so bad, I had to wear a mask to clean the box. I immediately threw it all away and replaced with dust free litter! It also doesn't clump well.

I'm very very disappointed in this product it says it's 99.9% dust free which is a lie there is nothing but a crap load of dust and two why in the heck does it come from clear to California when we have a Walmart right here and a distribution center where I live I will not be getting this no more I'm very disappointed I've got a lot of dust around the house because of this stupid cat litter that claims it's 99.9% death free bull crap I am very disappointed and very upset it is causing my cat's asthma to act up she never had asthma before but now because of this stupid litter I am upset

I’m a Walmart member I spent over 200 Dollars a month on this kitty litter and somehow they have gotten clay litter mixed up with the scoopable stuff and it’s horrible and I’ve gone to that half of January so far all this month they need to get that fixed and I even called the one 800 number my cats hate it and I have 12

I buy this all the time and it works well .This time the litter that was inside was not clumping litter it was a vey chunky litter not fine like normal . I gave it the benefit of the doubt and filled my boxes with it and it is definitely not clumping litter .same container I always buy
