Catan 5E : Cities & Knights Expansion Strategy Board Game for Ages 12+, from Asmodee

I'm so happy I managed to find one of the last few copies out there at a reasonable price. The package arrived in mint conditions.

This expansion is amazing! Just keep in mind this is not a standalone game you NEED the Catan base game!

I purchased the two Cities and Knights expansions assuming that at least one of them would contain the 5-6 player extra water tiles to actually be able to play 5-6 player cities and knights. Catan Studios and all other makers of this game need to have more obvious instructions for working combinations. Now I have three very expensive boxes of game pieces but can only play a four player game even though I have the cities and knights 5-6 player expansions. None of this is the fault of Walmart. Walmart offered a great price and delivered my order safely and in a timely manner.

This game is ABSOLUTE COUNTERFEIT GARBAGE. I was SO excited for it to be delivered, I have played Cities %26 Knights many times and really appreciate the amazing quality of the game. This version from Walmart looks like someone tried to recreate it in their basement. The box is flimsy garbage, the pieces are plastic and cheap, it's just awful. The box also does not have the "TM" trademark (as shown in the image on the website) so it is quite clearly a knock off. I returned it right away. I am disgusted at Walmart for supporting the sale of knockoff/counterfeit items. It's an insult to the company who created Settlers of Catan.

I was disappointed to see that this is a knockoff version. Do not buy this product. It can be tempting while production of the legitimate game is being delayed, but I don't think it's worth it. The commodity cards are printed differently and of different size than the resource cards in the base game. This makes them easy to differentiate when stealing cards from other players. The box is more cheaply made. The city upgrade pads were cheaply manufactured, making them near-impossible not to tear when dividing them at first opening. The die is poorly manufactured. The merchant is not the same as the official chip (looks more like a chess pawn instead of a cone). One of the red city walls is missing. Instead of being made of wood like the official version, all the pieces are made of plastic.

This is a counterfeit item. Everything is cheaply made from the thin cardboard box, different sized resource and commodity cards, flimsy flip cards, plastic pieces (which were not complete) and a folded plastic die. Horrible and extremely disappointed.

Do not get this, it's a knockoff. It's not a huge deal, but the commodity cards won't match with resource cards so the whole robbing part of the game won't really work.

This is a knock off version of the game. Very low quality! I did not expect Walmart to be selling illegal copies, and was very disappointed.

Very cheap and obvious knockoff. Don't buy this item, it comes with cheap plastic pieces instead of wood, the colors and everything are completely off as well. Quite frustrated with this.

This is NOT a legitimate Catan game. The pieces are plastic instead of wood, the cards and other game pieces are poor quality. And, most importantly, it was missing several pieces!
