Catchables 2pk DJ and Cattle Party Game from Exploding Kittens (Walmart Exclusive)

Got as a gift

This is a great game for the family! We did change the rules for our granddaughter who is 5 because she couldn't do 5 actions at one time. Neither could I! I'm even creating my own rules to use this in my classroom with 20 plus students. I bought the entire series out there!

looks so cute! My son is going to love this- creativity and gross motor coordinate at its finest! This OT loves this game!

This was a super fun and quick game! We played it while camping with a mix of all ages! We had many laughs and even our littlest ones were having fun and some success! The rules and set up were loose enough that we could adapt it to make it harder or easier as needed. Much fun and many laughs!

I did not personally play this game, but gave it to 4 teens (aged 17 and 18) to play outside. They gave it a full run through that I watched some of. This review is based on their feedback. They liked the game. It is a good outside activity for 4 people, and you have to do a bunch of silly things with the CATchables - catching them while wiggling, or shimmying, or putting on a funny voice. They found the game easy to pick up, and easy to play. They all said that they laughed while playing, which is what I saw too.Their main criticisms were that the game itself was pretty much the same all the way through. There was no progression, and it was really a lot of doing the same, albeit quite silly, things over and again. It was also, for them, too easy to finish the game quickly, although once someone "won", they carried on playing anyway! They also wanted the box to be a little more substantial, and didn't like the open face of it too much. They did like the actual CATchables themselves, and they all felt the game was well designed. They all agreed that they would play it again, and it seems like a good option to keep in the toy chest, especially if you can play outside. Finally, the majority view was to give the game 3.5 stars, which wasn't an option here. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because that's the direction that the one differing view went. I should add that they have played plenty of Exploding Kittens games that they have loved, and this maybe went in a direction that they weren't expecting, thus the score.

Catchables is a fun simple dexterity game that becomes a lot more tense as the game progresses. It has many cards that vary in how much they complicate the process of catching one of the catchables that makes choosing who has to deal with these challenges interesting. my only problem is that the game doesn't work that well with 2 players but besides from that this is a great game.

Rub your belly and pat your head at the same time? Can you do it while standing on one foot? Can you do all that while also complimenting another player? And while trying to throw a cat in the air and catch it?This quick game of will get you whacky by waving and flailing your arms and blowing kisses at your competitors. It's really fun to try to complete all the required actions while also playing catch with yourself.

This is a well designed game for all ages. The "balls" are Exploding Kittens, and they are really cute! Eggs and Bakey was our favorite. They are perfectly sized and the perfect texture for throwing and catching. My kids are older, so it wasn't too hard for them to get the required number of activities completed. It would be more challenging for a younger child, but EK has set the rules so it's pretty easy to get to a good set of activities so everyone can win. Highly recommended!

Super fun and challenging. If you can throw and catch, you’re good. Or are you? The action cards for the game range from super simple to throw and catch wizard. And the catchables have a good squish to them so while you’re waiting for your turn, you can squeeze their little brains out. Hahaha. Great game for parties or family game night. 10/10 recommend

First of all, I love the CATchable characters! The self-care one is the mot relatable to me and is therefore my favorite, but the black hole cat is a close second! For the game itself, I like the packaging! They include ziploc baggies for each character so you can keep them separate after playing which is a nice touch! I would like to see the pocket the cards are kept in a little deeper to account for the size of the unfolded baggies, it was hard to put the box back together after we were done playing due to the baggies sticking up further than the molded plastic could handleAs for the gameplay itself, it's really fun! The challenges are difficult but achievable, and the rules are easy to pick up and run with in less than 5 minutes. Highly recommend this game to any group who likes to play active games!
