Exploding Kittens: Catchables 2-Pack #3 (Caterina & Catastrophe)

My wife and I loved the idea of this game, because there aren't a whole lot of party games that can be played by only two players. The game was super easy to understand, and seemed pretty simple at first "just clap your hands".... fast forward about 10 minutes and we're laughing because each of us is trying to do 4-5 different things and jumping and flopping around. The biggest thing we found was... there's nothing in the rules that technically stops you from being able to go outside to throw the cat 10+feet in the air... shhhhhhhhh ;) We also loved the designs of the squishy cats and they were sooooo soft.

Fantastic game for a silly time with friends and family! The laughs and the talent keep on rolling as this game progresses, and keeps you on your toes as you challenge yourself and competitors to take it to the next level. Witty, hilarious, acrobatic and a downright blast of a game. Cannot wait to get my paws on all the catchables!

This game is pure joy and silliness! I played it with my wife who has been feeling down recently- and it led to seeing her smile more than I've seen in a long time. We had so much fun throwing these little toys all around the house while also trying (and often failing with hilarious results) to remember every challenge we had to meet while doing so. I'm excited for how fun and zany this game will be with more players! I'm definitely incorporating it into our future game nights. The CATchables themselves are also really cute, soft, and adorably squishy. My favorite one is probably the Eggs N' Bakey Cat! I love his little face. The Black Hole Cat surprised me because there's a lot of detail on the back of the CATchable as well. All in all, I'm really grateful to have played this game because of the happiness it has brought to my home!

This is a well designed game for all ages. The "balls" are Exploding Kittens, and they are really cute! Eggs and Bakey was our favorite. They are perfectly sized and the perfect texture for throwing and catching. My kids are older, so it wasn't too hard for them to get the required number of activities completed. It would be more challenging for a younger child, but EK has set the rules so it's pretty easy to get to a good set of activities so everyone can win. Highly recommended!

Let's start with the 'catchables' themselves - they feel like stress ball material and I will certainly be using them for that when not playing the game. The game itself is expandable and 1 set will allow up to 4 players (so if you get all 3 sets you can play with 12 players). The action cards range from easy to really difficult which makes game play fun because you can either challenge yourself or challenge other players to meet the goal of doing the actions before catching your catchable. We played with 3 players and we were all engaged and laughing the entire game. I can see this being a great game to play for group get togethers where you want people to interact with each other instead of staring at their phones. Whole game play took us about 15 minutes (including reading the directions). And as always if rules don't work for you or you are confused by them EK encourages you to adapt the rules for the group playing (which is great).

A fast paced and crazy game that puts your metal and coordination to the test. The kids had a great time running around and like maniacs trying to do all the actions before catching the cat! Definitely a great game when you have lots of space (and headroom). Perfect for the park, camping, or playing in the yard. Adults beware, drinking makes this game harder! But still fun and enjoyable nonetheless. A bonus is how fun and cute the cats look. They fit great on the desk or shelf as a decoration and at hand stress reliever.

This game is a purrfectly lighthearted and easy game for any party! It was seriously hard to CATch my breath after all the laughing I did while playing this game! Whether it was from the silliness of the task, embarrassment/frustration, or watching my opponents fail, it’s a short game that feels like hours of fun (just be careful not to turn it into a game of Throw Throw Burrito LOL). I highly recommend playing it in a room with high ceilings, but ultimately, the more players, the more fun! I can’t wait to collect the rest of these crazy cats to see what kind of tricks they want me to perform.

We had a blast playing CATchables. The active and fast paced nature makes it a perfect party game that we laughed out loud while playing. The cats themselves look really cool, but unfortunately that didn't translate to the cards that come with each cat. One of the big draws of the Exploding Kittens Games is the hilarious and irreverent art on the cards in their other games. These cards unfortunately didn't have much of that, and were pretty similar from cat to cat. Cards that had more to do with the type of cat they came with and had the amazing art that the previous games are known for would make this a 5 star game

Catchables is a fun simple dexterity game that becomes a lot more tense as the game progresses. It has many cards that vary in how much they complicate the process of catching one of the catchables that makes choosing who has to deal with these challenges interesting. my only problem is that the game doesn't work that well with 2 players but besides from that this is a great game.

My kids absolutely love this game and all the silly things they get to do while playing, but make sure you have room because it can get crazy 😆. It also takes some coordination, and dad didn't enjoy the game as much because he lacks that coordination!
