Perfect, Calculator for my desk

I received the Catiga 12 digit dual power calculator for free in exchange for my honest review. This is a nice small desktop calculator. First thing I noticed was the weight--it's heavier than many others of its size, may be a sturdier case. This makes it 'stick' better on the desk so it doesn't push around while using it, and it has rubber feet to help that too. It's 4.5" wide by 6" high, with an angled display, numbers are about 3/4" high, and easily readable. It has a "00" button, which lets you put two zeros after the 1st number every time you push it, for those who need lots of zeros faster. Buttons are nice size, work very well, don't have that cheap 'rattle' some of the cheaper ones do. Has auto shut-off after "5-12 minutes", that works, but seems a bit longer than necessary to me. A dedicated 'off' button would be nice, like many of the $1 calculators have these days. Battery is changeable, takes one AG13/LR44. Solar power works fine under a desk lamp. Comes with a small instruction manual that basically just shows you calculations and what buttons to push for them, not much text to explain things. Seems to be a quality unit, so recommended.

I Love This Big Number Calculator. I Have A Hard Time Seeing So This Comes In Really Handy When I Have To Calculate My Monthly Bills. No More Squinting To Be Able To See It. It's So Easy To See. Also It Is Solar And Battery Powered . You Can Use It Anywhere In Your Home, For School, In A Office . It Sets At A 45 Degree Angle Which Is A Added Plus .

This solar and battery dual powered calculator has nice large numbers and viewing screen so it's easy to use and read. Great for home, office or school use. The bottom has 4 rubber pads to help keep it stationary while in use. I recommend this product!

I like everything about the CATIGA CD-2786 Metal Desktop Calculator 12 Digit w/ Extra Large Display Standard Function. It is simple and does everything I need it to do. The buttoms are large and work well with arthritic, elderly hands. I don't make mistakes as I did on other calculators with smaller buttons. It is the first time I have owned a Catiga. I was unfamiliar with this brand but decided to give it a go. I'm very happy I did. Nothing negative to say about this calculator.

This calculator is perfect for those of us with not so perfect vision. The display and buttons are large and easy to read making quick accurate calculations a snap! Runs on both solar and battery power (replaceable button cell) so it works great in low light situations as well. The solar feature will continue to work independently of a dead battery, so no worries in that area. Handy for quick desktop or mobile use. Would also be a great first calculator for the kids. I've only had it a couple of weeks and used it a dozen times already. If you need a fully functional, slightly above basic, easy to use/read calculator this model from CATIGA would be a perfect choice.

I finally checked my mailbox! Here it is! (Pics below) This is a handy calculator. Much easier to use that the computer one, simple and easy to read with large keys. This calcultor is about 5.5" x 4". So it's not tiny, but it also does not take up a lot of space. It will fit in a drawer that is at least 1" high. Having large keys is essential for those of us who are older or for people who have large hands. The size of the keys are larely what makes it highly functional. It has another quality that is attractive: solar capacity! Yes, it will work on a round, 1.5 volt battery or via light energy. Having a floresecent bulb in your desk lamp will encourage the solar function, although I would keep a working battery in it for backup. Pros: large keys and large, easy to read display, simple -- no miltiple function keys. Each key is responsible for one function. Turns itself off after a few minutes of non-use. Cons: Keys do not light up in the dark.
