My son wanted a cassette tape player in pink and I can't believe I actually found one. Plus it can play music out of the speaker without headphones phones like a handheld radio and you can even use it to record your own cassettes! Super happy with this purchase, definitely going to buy one for my daughter also!
I got this for my 12 yrs old daughter for Christmas because she on a "vintage items" kick lol She loves it! I got her a few cassette tapes and the sound quality is pretty good, she has matching color headphones and she's feeling pretty cool.
This turned out to be perfect for my husband. Exactly the features he was wanting. Works perfectly.
The audio isn't fantastic, and its clumsy inserting tapes into it, but it's cheap enough and has a convenient external speaker. If you have cassette tapes you like listening to but aren't picky about sound quality, this is a pretty good buy.
I like it I played all day singing and recording , my voice isn't the greatest but I thought I'd listen to what I sound like so I know what I put others through

not the best quality
This tape player can—technically and in the most basic ways—function as advertised. Where quality is concerned, it's horrific. Surfing radio waves is pretty fun (if exceptionally lo-fi), but the built-in "mic" might as well be a tin can tied to a string. Miserable recording capability. You're likely to find comparable or better fidelity at a garage sale, picking up something from decades ago.
What I dislike about this recorder is it extremely hard to see the description parts. On page 2-EN it is not clear where the numbers relate to the buttons. I could not find the %236 Recorder button from the %233 button. Where is the play button vs the fast forward. I can't use this machine and find that it is a waste of my money and impossible to use. I feel if the tiny buttons were color coded on this machine it would be useable, maybe. Things are NOT clearly marked. I am very unhappy with this recorder. I was able to record but had a very hard time to play it back. This machine is very inconvenient. I am very unhappy with this machine, and I tried very hard to use it because I need a recorder. I know you will not print my review.
