As a graphics and photographer, clients often ask for their graphics/photos on a disc or thumb drive. I was using 2gb and found they had ample storage but I also had to compress many items to below perfect settings to get all the items to fill the space. Shopping around these 4gb drives in the 10 piece value pack, seemed to be my answer to ensure quality is maintained. Well made, versatile in their use and the price cannot be beat! Since I include this option in the package(s) purchased, cost is always a factor as is quality. I am very pleased with these and plan on stocking up. From pictures to videos to graphics and music, these are perfect for every day use or as gifts for those special events! They also come in higher GB's to meet your needs. Overall, Very satisfied customer!
Item comes in 10 pieces to add up to the listed storage capacity. This was documented up front. Works perfect. backed up some files to use when travelling.
This Flash Drive was very convenient and easy to use. I was able to store many spreadsheets and pictures on it. It was faster than I was expecting. The slot to tie a string on it was nice because it was carved into the Flash Drive and not sticking out.
Thanks walmart for an amazing deal. This USB drive works just fine and have no issues losing data or images. I have been using this brand for several months and they do what they are suppose to do. Walmart has some great deals on 32GB class 10 SD's as well.
Got this so that I can back up all my docs and pictures..so far so good. i have used this brand before and they work just fine. You can't ask for better pricing! Thanks Wal-Mart! p.s no usb's or SD's warn you before data comes off or it gets lost. It can happen to any brands out there. So far I have no issues at all!
If you need storage and end up giving away these thumb drives, having a few on hand is a good idea. The day of the floppy disk is over.
Works great as a simple flash drive. This one is simple to operate unlike those with setup sets and differnet folders etc. It is truly a plug and play type. The only thing missing is a hole and loop that allows you to place it on a chain.
I bought this as a Christmas gift and it's a good thing I tried copying data to it. Tried copying 31GB of data from a 600MB/s SSD expecting a class 10 speed of near 10MB/s. The first 10 seconds it got 5MB/s then started slowing down. After 1 minute is was getting < 1MB/s. After 30 minutes it was so slow I calculated it 9 days to finish copying at that rate. Needless to say, I returned it to Walmart.
While I was loading this drive it went write protected. I couldn't use it so I trashed it and am out the paid price plus tax. Too much hassle to take it back. I wasn't about to buy a program so I could repair this drive. I wish Wal Mart would quit carrying this brand like some other retailers (Newegg for one) have. Centon products are junk. Carrying this kind of defective product gives Wal Mart a bad reputation. This is the second review I have written on this product, the first last week didn't get published. I'll be looking to see if Wal Mart will publish this one. Maybe they just publish good reviews, we'll see.
Old equipment can only access up to 4Gb memory. Newer larger flash drives do not even have the option to format as FAT16. Must have 2Gb or 4Gb drive to have the option, and is required for compatibility with old equipment. Shipping 8Gb flash drives labeled as 4Gb flash drives is not acceptable.
