Cerakote Ceramic Trim Coat Restoration Kit, Faded Plastic Trim Restorer with 200 Wash Rating

Follow the instructions to the Tee! Wash and completely dry your vehicle 100%. Use a leaf blower to be 100% sure you won’t have a drip. It is an excellent product but you get instructions and follow them. Make SURELY you wear the gloves, and if they are too small, get proper sized ones for yourself. This product WILL chemically burn your skin within 20 seconds or so of contact. If you get it on your skin, wash it off immediately. All that out of the way, this is an outstanding product that turned my greyed out 2008 Toyota plastic to like new black and it lasted 8 months or more before I reapplied.

I have used Cerakote headlight restorer in the past; works great. I recently used this Cerakote Trim Restorer on my mailbox which was becoming dull and faded. Again, this works great, brings back the black shine, and hopefully lasts for a couple of years. I will redo it once it starts to wear off as it only used up 3 of the 8 included pads to do the entire mailbox and post cover.

I used this product on my exterior trim. It brings back the faded color instantly. This particular item I purchased came w 8 individual wipes that are pre-saturated w the product. It works best on plastic that has a texture to it. On smooth plastic it works also but you have to be very careful applying it because going back over the areas you just wiped it will show overlapping marks. Take your time and works great. The only complaint I have is that it has pre-saturated wipes that don’t last long. Maybe one wipe per fender flare and 2-3 wipes per bumper. Again, it works better on textured surfaces without streaking but on smooth plastic it’s very tricky not to overlap and leave streaks.

I have tried many ways to restore the grayed out fenders and bumper. None worked like this. Follow the directions. That is important. Clean fenders with a soft scrub brush. Once clean and dry, use the wipes just like they say. It works great if you do.

I have a 2014 jeep grand cherokee, this product is making the trim look new again I had to order 2 packages, I have to do 2 coats they all look like new trims, even the ones on top they were more white than gray now they look like new, I might go 3 coats later on, right now with 2 coats they look new.

My brother owns a 1990’s Cadillac CTS sport which he loves. I was so tired of seeing those yellowed headlights so decided to gift him this product. It is amazing how beautiful those lights look now! They look brand new! You will not be disappointed!

This stuff works wonders. It completely brought back the dark, rich color to our faded plastic trim. It's easy to apply and holds up incredibly well through washes and weather, especially here in Houston, TX. Highly recommend! Prep is key, clean the car trim thoroughly so the product looks even when applied.

This does a good job and will be buying more. Worked better than bottled plastic restorers And has lasted mos. Definitely do spot tests on the different plastics on your car. Most trim it’s excellent for but some it leaves streaking that you essentially have let just wear off. Highly recommend. Use disposable gloves and in well ventilated area

This is a good product. It was easy to use. My only issue is that you need to use multiple packets to get a good result. The wipe is big enough to only do one small section at a time. I have a little compact car with a small amount of trim. It did the job, and it looked good, but it didn't seem very cost-effective. I would rather buy a bottle of this.

The black plastic trim ALL OVER my BMW X5 looked awesome shiny %26 black for a few days until the coating completely dried. The lighter color of small pits in the plastic began to show. I anticipate better color after I use some 3M adhesive remover (aerosol) to remove wax and dirt from the surface of my BMW"S trim. It still looks much better with the coating.
