This stuff is great. I used to insulate an exhaust pipe going through a wall. One inch of the insulation was enough to protect the wood and plastic in the wall. I notice the exhaust pipe was close the wood box the engine was running on so I installed a piece of insulation between the pipe and the wood to fix that issue. You need to wear gloves and eye protection when using the insulation. It is similar to fiberglass insulation. The fibers are easily disturbed.

perfect for what I needed, I wanted to wrap insulation around the furnace duct pipe going to the chimney. I didn't want anybody to be burned if they happen to fall against the pipe when it is hot in the winter time. the 15 and a half inch width is perfect for a 5-in flue pipe.

Works perfect for what we needed it for! we use it on the back of our wood heat woodstove

This is more like an old asbestos cotton batting not like the new stuff That you would cut and stick over a thermostat on a water heater. but that's what I'm gonna use it for anyway.

Flakes off in small pieces very messy it did serve the purpose

The product is fine. The shipping was terrible. Promised delivery on Saturday but didn't get it until Tuesday late evening. I don't know if it was the seller's fault or FedEx. But I won't buy anything from Walmart to be shipped again.

As soon as you touch it it falls apart makes a real mess I wouldn't recommend it
