i suffer from extreme eczema and up until 15 years or so i had a prescription ointment that work great . But of course my insurance had to take it off of its plan , so for the next 10 years i struggled to find something whether it was script. or over the counter and to no avail i found nothing ...then about 5 years ago i was told about CeraVe ointment and i thought it was going to be a waste of more money and time trying it but i was way wrong .. This stuff works great !!!!! i put a decent amount on and the put gauze over it and then i use cotton gauze roll to wrap around my legs or arms or i use cotton gloves at night for my hands and just 1 application of it and leaving it over night or a full day and the patches of my legs that had all the skin gone and the rest of my legs that were badly dry and flaky are so much better . i honestly thought that i would have to go to the trama center again to get my legs cured but not with this ointment.. IT HONESTLY WORKS !!!!!
i do dishes and clean alot, and recently nothing was working. oils and shea mixed with cacao butter would make my skin worse and my lotion stopped working because it was too watery and would immediately make me breakout. i would have red itchy flare ups on my hands and some of my arms, my skin would be painfully cracked, and sometimes the thin part of the skin on my wrist would pop up. im so happy for this, im going too use it everyday, it was so worth it for me! no stinging no burning no flareup:)
This is kind of sticky, but I expected that. it is an ointment and keeps my skin from cracking in the cold weather. It has a light, pleasant scent. I use it at night on my arms and legs and then put on my long sleeved and long legged pajamas. It soaks in overnight and I wake with nice, smooth skin.
My Dermatologist actually uses this on her hands and feet. Overnight I saw a HUGE difference. I'll never be without this product in my bathroom. I already bought 2 more so I'll never run out. So grateful my doctor told me about this cream. 100% HIGHLY recommend.
what I would like you to know about this healing ointment is that it truly does work my likes are the scent for the barely has any for those that are sensitive to scents the only dislike I have about it is that it is a Vaseline based ointment which can get on your sheets of your bed however is it worth it to replace your sheets yes cuz this stuff actually works few neighbors of mine have tried it and because I saw what it did for them I figured let me give it a try and you know what it was worth every penny would I buy it again absolutely would I recommend for anyone with dry skin that needs healing to buy it absolutely
A family member, that was nonambulatory, suffered with red, irritated areas under her breasts, and abdominal area. Visiting nurses, Healthcare workers, and family members suggested various solutions. A Dermatologist had recommended this product to me for my dry skin. I requested that the workers providing care for my family member give it a try. It worked!! Love this product.
This was recommended to me by my Dermatologist to use for the burning %26 itching of stress induced eczema. It is really nice feeling. It is thick but not “greasy” as some products are. I like that it is unscented so it won't further irritate the flare ups. You need to try this. I like the big tub of it to keep in the bathroom
My skin area, especially my arms are very dry and splotchy. My hope was that this CeraVe healing ointment would soothe and relieve some of the dryness. I'm still in the new phase, but it does help somewhat. The cons I have, it's very greasy and the moisturizing doesn't seem to last even when I apply in the morning or before bed.
I used many cera ve products. Facial cleansers, moisturizers and lotion. Before purchasing you shoukd know this lotion is texture of Vaseline and feels like slathering on baseline that stays on surface and then on clothes. It doesn’t soak in it glistens like I’m on my way to a bodybuilding contest all piled up. I’ve no idea what this is but I feel covered in Vaseline. And cera ve your hyalauronicserum has definitely gone down hill. Not solid looks like milk running out of bottle into my sink. Perhaps time for a change…
I buy this ointment often for multiple uses, dry cracked skin, soothing my psoriasis and eczema as well as dry lip and cuticle repair. I had no idea they changed the formula, when I bought it this time it looked the same online but first time putting it on was completely grossed out from the stickiness. It feels like honey was added to it or something. It doesn't dry in at all. I ended up washing it off instead. So very disappointed and will not recommend anymore or buy again. Guess I'm stuck with this one though as I have no way to return it since I get all my groceries delivered because I have no car. I'm out $21 bucks, this sucks!
