I love this product! I used to suffer from dermatographia which came from stress I had at that time and this product relieve the itchiness and bumps I would get from scratching so much. I do have allergies as well and I use it around my eyes, just be careful. I would soo recommend.

CeraVe Itch Relief Cream is a lifesaver! Within minutes, the redness, itching, and pain were drastically reduced. One important tip, don't overapply. I noticed it worked best when I washed the area or bathed first, then applied a fresh layer. Reapplying over old layers seemed less effective. Great for dry, irritated, angry skin, steroid-free and gentle.

Does everything it says it will, BUT......Long term use of this(which it it does say see a doc if whatever you have persists 7-10 days or some other generic disclaimer)will clog pores and cause tiny white itchy bumps which LOOK AWFUL and are itchy. I used it about 3-4 weeks on isolated itchy areas of my face, and at age 60, my face looked like a teenager with all of these little zit like clogged pores AND one under my eye that looks stye-ish, with NONE of the advantages. It took me several weeks to clear that mess up on my face and they are still on my arms. It LOOKS unsightly and ironically, it causes a NEW itch. So, great for a few days, but not much beyond without awful side effects,

Our primary care physician recommended this product to us and I am so glad she did. I have used it on mosquito bites and poison oak and it really works in a short time.it takes only a small amount so a container last for a long time. I highly suggest it.

I was truly surprised how effective this cream was at STOPPING the itch. It's a different ingredient than the usual hydrocortisone or colloidal oatmeal ingredients that you find in traditional exzema creams. It's a very emollient and thick cream, and did not sting or irritate an eczema flare-up. NGL it's a bit pricey, however I'm definitely buying it again.

Stops itchy skin immediately. Older lady with very dry skin. After showering I put this on everywhere and the itching immediately stops. excellent product. what a relief!

This was prescribed by my dermatologist because I have dry skin that is exacerbated by a medication I take which has a side effect of itching. I was pleasantly surprised at the results. I got almost immediate relief that lasted most of the day. It is a bit pricey, but well worth it in my experience. I took one star away because I'd prefer it to be in a container with a pump or a squeeze tube, so the rest of the cream is not contaminated by using your fingers to scoop it out.

I ordered CeraVe itch relief cream for urticaria hives. Don't buy this product for that problem because it does not stop the itching. It might about 2 minutes, and it will start itching again. It is great for minor itching, but it's not good for someone that has that urticaria like I have. It only makes it worse. Other than that, it is a wonderful product. I highly recommend it for other skin irritation and for other itching issues.
