Got a mineral base sunscreen because healthier for the face love CeraVe products for face wash had skin cancer removed very deep on nose so need to keep protected for next several years hate greasy creams in the face tried it on small are this is lightweight clear after disks in and perfect protection from hot sun rays on all skin types can wear under makeup or by with tint I don’t like makeup so perfect sun protection and moisturizer all in one a little goes along way my surgeon recommended mineral based glad my trust worthy brand carries it wish it was a bigger tube but will see how long this one lasts
In reading the reviews about this product, I’m surprised that people don’t think to add a little bit of moisturizer and a dab of foundation to the product. It’s supposed to be thick and it does a great job of protecting the skin, which is what we want. In order to get the white cream to a fabulous consistency, add a little bit of foundation primer or moisturizer and a dab of your foundation. It’s the best for coverage and protection!
Read reviews and thought I would try this as the skin on my face has been extremely dry. When I first put it on it was like trying to rub paste on dry cardboard. I put a little foundation and loose powder on also and a few hours later I felt my face and it felt so soft and smooth. I was very happy it worked so well. Worth the money to me.
Great light weight sunscreen. It does leave a slight haze when first applied, but disappears once it is absorbed. I like that it doesn’t smell like sunscreen and doesn’t feel heavy on my skin.
everyone complaining about the white cast or whatever is just not rubbing it in- it takes like 20 seconds seriously its not that hard and its worth the effectiveness
I like this mineral based sunscreen. It does start out as leaving a whitecast, but after it dries down and I put foundation on, its not noticeable. It does fairly well under my makeup, but I did notice a little pilling. This doesn't seem to dry out my skin like other mineral based sunscreen have in the past.
Thus mineral sunscreen is great value for the price and has excellent protection. Thev only drawback is your face stays white from the cream for quite a while and does not disappear but like I said the protection is excellent and that's what you want.
I’m sure this blocks sun/UV, but it is terrrrriiible for use on the face unless you’re trying to look like a ghost! highly recommend (of all things) coppertone sport SPF 50 mineral sunscreen. It goes on so smooth and blends to nearly sheer on the face. You don’t technically have to put makeup on top of it to still look pretty normal skin tone wise. Even after I’ve applied my powder makeup - which goes on great over the coppertone - when I need to reapply sunscreen later in the day the coppertone one rubs in right on top of my makeup, smooth and blends in sheer, BUT this CerVe is TERRIBLE! I would have to completely remove my make up, apply the CerVe, and then try to cover it up. Not convenient/doable when you’re out and about, when you’re at work, etc. It’s more like paint!
If you aren’t white, it’ll turn your skin purple. And it wont blend out no matter how much you rub it in, wait, or try to cover it with makeup. This is hands down the worst sunscreen I’ve ever used in my life.
This isn't for me. I'm African American and I looked terrible. It leaves that terrible white residue.
