Chamberlain 2 Button Universal Garage Door Remote

Good afternoon: I purchased 2 extra remotes for either use in the Car or in the House I have a detached garage, they are the 2 buttons type to control door and light functions, they are Well made, And The Wal-Mart Delivery Lady made the Delivery Today on Memorial Day, She was Polite and Professional and Represented The Wal-Mart Company Very Well! Thank You Wal-Mart Job Well Done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to conect.Took me 5 minutes to get it working.It dual so it can be used to control two units.Garage door and maybe a gate.It has 1300 ft range wich is very good.It came with battery already installed. I had it for about a month and there is no sign of battery slowing down. It's comparable with most garage door openers.It is madebof very good material

Can't attest to battery life as I haven't had it long enough but very impressed with how the unit is working so far! Programming instructions were very straight forward and once I found my particular opener model had it programmed within a minute. Would definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The setup process was super simple, the quality is good, it is compatible with many garage doors built after 1993. The range is super long (1300 feet) so your garage will be fully open by time you pull up to it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The instructions were a bit vague in places (ie: hold down....but for how long?). We found ourselves winging it a bit to figure out the gaps for universal type instructions vs our brand garage motor. The first attempt didn't work, so we had to do the alternative instructions. We eventually got it working for our main garage door and didn't try to get the 3rd car garage door linked to it yet. So far it's worked fine, it has a firm click so it's not going to open accidentally by brushing past it. I haven't tested the range since I'm in the driveway or next to it when I open my garage but no trouble with those two locations.

I will say it took a few tries to get it paired to my garage door, but that could also be attributed to user error haha. The range of it is really nice, I was out in the street in front of my garage and it worked from there, and I have a fairly long driveway.

The initial setup was easy as it synced easily with the door but it has a very short range and it was very common for the opener to not work even when right outside of the garage. I wanted to love this but the lack of range and inconsistency made it not much use to me.

Unfortunately, unfortunately, I am not able to completely review this product because it did not work with our garage door properly. Was not connecting with the garage door motor opener.

Did not come with a paper programming guide. They force you to scan a code on the back of the remote. Brings up set of confusing instructions on my phone.. 2 button remote. Tried to program 2 different garage doors. Now both garage doors open and close simultaneously. Don't know how to clear the remote and start over. Tried to get online troubleshooting support off the chamberlain website. No help. Said easy setup. Bull
