Champion C40065 Generator Wheel Kit with Axle, Folding Handle and Never-Flat Tires, 3000-4000 Watt

This Champion Generator Wheel Kit I purchased from www.walmart.com is a very useful addition to my Champion Generator, because it enables me to move the generator without much effort for setup and operation of the unit to power my tools and to meet other alternative electrical demands around my home and else where. Attaching the generator wheel kit was a cinch, because all of the hardware I needed was provided. I really liked the www.walmart.com price of the item, which was less costly than other online retailers I found.

Bought this to make it easier to move my generator from garage to area of operation. Was easy to install to the open frame of generator. This review makes me eligible for a "#sweepstakes" prize.

This wheel kit makes an almost impossibly heavy generator simple to move around (even for a less-than strong woman). Get one so your husband won't balk at taking your generator with you on camping trips. It will allow for you to us your micowave, your TV and your air conditioner without whining!

Easy to install and transport!

Delivery was on time. Packaging was good. Instructions were okay but, manageable. Install was fairly easy. I tested it out by rolling it around int the garage a little. Good, so far. The real test comes when I have to roll it on uneven surface.

I purchased this wheel kit along with my new Champion Model 100307 3500 watt dual fuel generator. It did not come with wheels in the package. After reading reviews, it made sense to get the wheel kit. I was able to purchase along with the generator on the same day. At 119lbs, the generator would be too heavy for my wife to carry and move around the camp site or out door event. Glad I purchased the wheel kit. Instructions were clear and precise. I was complete in about 10m. Wheel kit works like a champ!

I almost purchased a cheaper floor dolly to move my Champion generator around with but am glad I didn't. It was easy to install and it surprisingly easy to move my generator from place to place. The wheels are big enough to move it around outside with ease and the handle stores so it out of the way.

I have had it running . Starts just fine. Two pulls and away it goes. Very quiet ! I put a through the wall kit in the house. Hooked up some devices and good to go. I wished they would have included a wheel kit with the generator. But, no matter, i ordered one and installed it. Makes moving the generator so much easier. I like the 12v circuit and the usb ports. I think it will help us out a lot when the power goes out. Glad i bought it! I even called Champion help line about a question on the generator and they were very friendly and answered all my questions. Thanks.!

Overall, the product was as expected and assembled without issue. One thing I would have liked to have seen was an extra 5/8" washer for each wheel to close the gap between the wheel and the cotter pin. They seemed to have missed the mark on spacing here. I purchased additional washers and all is well.

This kit will not install on my 4500 champion generator. The kit assumes that brackets for the wheels are attached to the frame. No brackets are included in the kit. The wheels can be used if you fabricate brackets to hold a 5/8” steel rod to use as an axle for the wheels. Expect to spend about 3 hours on this modification.
