The best thing about the sprayer is the anti-clog system. It cost a few dollars more but worth it. I did get freaked out a little bit when I saw that it wasn't fully set up cuz I am in my 80s and don't like that stuff. My son did it for me and just 5 minutes. For some reason though, I seem to lose pressure and had to pump it again and again but I think I'm doing something wrong because it wasn't consistently that way. I like the size too because it was much easier to use than a really big one.
I had this brand sprayer and a 2 gallon form for over three years never had a problem with it, but now that I am watching my lifting and bending I've gone to the 1 gallon size which is perfect for me
This sprayer is easy to use. The instructions were simple just follow the instructions and you too can save money without hiring a professional . Place chemical in tank fill with water to correct level screw the top and push the plunger handle as few times . The sprayer was inexpensive especially since I bought it on sale and is quite substantial. Sure I'd rather hire an exterminator however that's a rather expensive proposition .Just use safety precautions as you would using any tools. .Using gloves and eye protection is extremely beneficial. Walmart took care of the free shipping and it came as promised. Spring is here and I'm ready for a beautiful flower garden using my sprayer , hopefully with less bugs. Thank you Walmart. Sheldon
Love the sprayer. It pumps up well, holds pressure, sprays nicely, and doesn't leak. Not messy. I have been buying pre-diluted weed killer that has it's own integrated sprayer. Spraying on those products requires constant hand pumping, the spray pattern is small, and the weed killer dribbles and leaks. So, I bought concentrate and this 1-gal sprayer. I was able to cover a large area in 1/5th the time now. Wow. And, it was just so much a better experience. I highly recommend this product. BTW, the reason I selected this sprayer is that several other buyers had reviewed the sprayer and cautioned that removing the top when the bottle was still pumped up can cause liquid to surge up or the top to pop off. That warning persuaded me that this bottle could be pressurized more than others and would hold the pressure! I was right about my observation and very happy with my resulting experience.
I have tried a couple other brands and they seem to fall apart after moderate use. This one had taken the use and handles the job. I would buy this again if I need another .
This one sprays as good as the $75 one and if it doesn't last longer than 1-2 years, I'm not out much. The metal one that I paid more for didn't last more than a year.
Very easy to use. Before this I was using a spray bottle. This works much better. Handle is easy to squeeze too so it doesn't tire out the hands. Would definitly recommend.
It is built from good high quality plastic material. The pump cylinder seal at the top is a thick O-ring that looks to be easily sourced should it ever need to be replaced. You must tighten the pump cylinder into the housing tightly to complete the seal. I own a backpack sprayer made by this same company, which has also impressed me over ten years ownership. At this point I am very happy with this small pump up sprayer too, it has a wand that is easily adjustable, sprays properly to the pattern i have adjusted it for. I don't see anything about this new sprayer that disappoints me in any way. I expect my tools and equipment to work properly, and this one does a great job indeed. I am glad i spent the extra few dollars to get this brand, it is great!
I received the sprayer a while ago and just opened it recently. I sprinkled part of a package of a variety of flowers in a small area in the front yard. My garden hose doesn't reach that area so I decided to use the sprayer. It was easy to open and fill the sprayer with water and vitamin B. This was the first time I am trying a sprayer. It was easy to pump and as I kept pumping it gets a little harder. This is a sign that it is ready to spray. The nozzle is adjustable from narrow to a wider spray. After a few minutes of spraying I had to pump it up again to continue. You can't continuously spray the whole container with just the first pump. It will stop spraying so it needed to be pumped up again and repeat the process until I used up the desired amount of liquid. The sprayer was what I expected it to do and very easy to use. Quality is good. I would recommend this product.
The lid seals poorly and does not maintain a vacuum, resulting in bad spray. Requires constant pumping to obtain pressure I've used it about 3 times. Very annoying.
