These shears are really good for doing small trimming on my plants around the yard. I've even used this on a Cypress and a tall Juniper, which normally is very difficult to use trimmers on because of the different sap that comes out. These work great, and I'm also going to be using them to do more trimming on my small lemon bush, which has 2-in thorns on it. Great lemons, but very big thorns! If I were you, I would definitely purchase these from walmart.com because it's a great value, you get more than one Shear for your money, and if there's a problem with the product, Call walmart.com and I'm sure they will refund you the money. I bought these little clippers because we needed some small, almost scissor like, clippers for the garden. They work really well for cutting tomatoes and other small veggies from the vine. I also really like that they come as a 3 piece set giving a variety of different sizes. My wife really likes the overall size of the clippers because they fit her smaller hands. These come sharp right out of the box. I would definitely recommend!

You get what you pay for. We all know this. If you are into landscaping and horticulture, these are not for you. If you're just starting out, an amateur or just want to trim a few twigs on your shrubs they will definitely do the job. They're inexpensive and do what they were made to do. Not top of the line by a long shot but I'm ok-enough with them. They do what I need them to do.

These garden tools are very well constructed. The hand grip is comfortable and the blades are sharp. The locks to keep closed are easy to open and shut and the springs are strong. The pollen in my area as well as the rainy days have kept me from actually using them but I can tell they will last a long time.

Ok product for the price, but the tools are not very sharp and they are only useful for a short time unless you are able to sharpen them for further use. If so, then they are a good choice for the price.

nice for light pruning and sharp. with the low cost you don"t feel to bad if you misplace them although the bright colors on the handles make it easier to keep track of.

I did not expect these tools to be such low quality. One of the tools would not even unlock, pictured with a circle of the lock in the unlock position. If I would have used them, they would have broke on the first use and the springs would have popped out, as did my last pair that was made of better quality. I would only recommend these for light plant trimming not yard work.

They didn't last 2 days. I bought them just to trim a little hedge in my yard. They weren't very sharp so I was switching between 2 of them and one of the pair just completely fell apart while using.

The smaller one will not open. Defective.
