It’s Charmin Ultra Soft Smooth Tear (with the wavy/scalloped perforation). The piece in my photo has the distinctive non-straight (wavy or scalloped) tear edge that Charmin introduced a couple of years ago on their Ultra Soft line. This was their first major design change in about 100 years — they replaced the traditional straight perforations with a curved/wavy pattern specifically to give a smoother, cleaner tear no matter how you pull the paper (straight down or at an angle).
Charmin Ultra Soft Toilet Paper is the softest and strongest against others I've tried. After a stint in the hospital and then 3 weeks in rehab I've never been so disgusted with the quality of the personal products these instutions buy. I'm surprised they just don't use newspaper as I noted no difference. Charmin products are top quality, absorbant, strong, soft as a powder puff. Price is right, also!
Since going menopause I had to find a "soft" toilet paper. I don't know if this is actually soft but it works well for me with a little bit of water added to it. I have been buying this specific one since the wave cut was added (luckily for me, they changed this toilet paper completely once they added the wavy edge cut) which was back during the beginning of Covid. I literally can't use anything else. I do recommend for those who need something a little gentler.
The stand is well made- sturdy and doesn't wobble under the weight of the giant roll. The roll glides on the stand. (Not good if you have a cat!) Great for those bathrooms that see a lot of traffic. The paper is the same quality as the traditional size rolls of “soft”. I do wish the giant rolls were also sold in their “ultra strong” paper.
It said Mega Roll, 4X sheets. In ad I couldn’t determine sheets? It is not Mega it is skinny roll of toilet paper with only 216 sheets. You need one Mega, that’s over 400 sheets. I want large rolls that you don’t change every day. I think product and ad could be more clear.
You can't buy the 6-roll packs anymore. They've moved to 4 mega rolls. If you compare the number of sheets per pack, you're getting fewer sheets for the same price. I used Charmin my entire life but because of the package shrinking, I no longer buy Charmin.
Was very disappointed that the Mega Rolls which I usually buy were only the size of normal rolls when delivered. Referring to them as "Mega Rolls" is deceptive. After being fooled, I checked. Now they have "Mega XL" rolls which are probably the size of the Mega Rolls I have been buying. I depend on the Mega Rolls to avoid changing the roll so often as I have disabilities. Now will have to buy the "Mega XL" rolls to get what were formerly the Mega rolls and the price is INSANE! After being a Charmin customer for 60 years, may have to go to another brand to acquire what I need at an affordable price. :(
Well, it is good toilet paper, but I recently discovered Charmin robbing us all. You see, they've come out with a newer version of the same thing. It's cost is exactly the same. But while the older version had 224 sheets per roll, the newer version now has 208 sheets per roll. So for a six pack like this, that's 96 LESS SHEETS PER ROLL! And yet it's the same price... This here is the newer version. The older version says how many sheets per roll in it's title. Notice how it's not so easy to see how many sheets per roll this one has? Yeah, uh-huh... So how do they get away with this? Well, because no one ever notices. This is the newer version and it already has 11.5 THOUSAND ratings, with an average rating of 4.6. It's not just this version either. They've done it with every variation of Charmin and every amount as well. AND, they aren't the only ones that do this. I noticed Viva Paper Towels doing it not too long ago also. AND, it's not just at Walmart. This occurs everywhere they are sold. So I don't know about you all, but this is basically criminal theft of the American public. While we're all busy hating each other, all of these big companies are totally robbing us all and laughing all the way to the bank...
Walmart never delivered it but they don't give refunds of paper products so I was out $35 with the tax. Do not recommend anyone to order paper products via the Walmart subscription. If you don't receive them, you are not given your money back. Horrible policy. I cancelled my membership immediately.
So I ordered these and went to put them away and noticed there is a huge size difference so I went back to double check that the correct item was delivered and and sure enough it was. I want to know what the heck that is going on with this! I spent the money but Charmin must be cutting back on their product. I feel cheated because I buy the bigger roll and package so I don't have to order it very often but at this rate I'm going to have to find a different product because if I'm going to pay the price then I expect to get a good product
