I purchased this item online using my Walmart app. I actually bought two one for myself and one for my sister. I opened it and used it for the first time today. It is beautiful within two minutes. You will have boiling hot water. The blue light is stunning. I love absolutely everything about this purchase. I do recommend this.
The kettle works perfectly, it's smaller than I realized but still perfect for my since I'm the only one using it. It boils quickly, not loud and I like the tea infuser bit.
This little kettle is amazing it heats your water super fast. It is great because you can also steep your tea leaves in it with the center piece that is removable.
I would not recommend this item. It boils water very fast however the steeper is not long enough for loose leaf tea if your make a cup at a time the water barely touches the leaves in the steeper
Boils over if filled over 1/2 full. It is a quick boil but the 1 liter capacity for fluid is just the size of the pot; it cannot process but 1/2 a liter at a time.
It has measured indicators for water levels which is good but …… I put tea in the infuser it boiled everywhere. Didn’t fill it just enough water for my cup . It’s great to heat water and no worries it shuts off.
It overflows and spills out of the pot when it reaches the boiling point, even if it’s halfway full. You have to keep an eye on it and switch it off as soon as it’s reaching boil.
I hated this kettle. It boiled over twice and made a mess in my kitchen. I had it filled to the top line where it said was maximum fill. This is an awful kettle. I do NOT recommend it!!!!
After my 4th use, I noticed a lot of liquid on my counter top. Thinking I must have spilt some I thought nothing of it. My 5th use, well now I had to see where the fluid was coming from. I pick up the pitcher from the base and it's the pitcher that's leaking. I'll be returning this item and request a replacement. Yes, I am a glutton for punishment! If the replacement performs better, Ill be sure to review that item.
Using this electric kettle for the first time, I turned it on, left the kitchen to do something else and returned after a few minutes. I was shocked to find my countertop wet with my freshly made tea! I initially thought that the pot itself may have cracked but that was not the case. After making sure the base was dry, I (foolishly) tried it a second time, this time watching the whole boiling process. What did I see? The tea literally boiled over the pot!!! Mind you, the water in both instances were halfway between the .5 and the 1.0L marks. Do not trust your household with this product!!!
