Chefman Anti-Overflow Belgian Waffle Maker, Shade Selector, Non-Stick, Black

This is the firs time I purchased a waffle maker and I like this product. It delivers a great waffle to perfection every time. I like my waffles crispy so I use setting 4. My grandkids like their waffles fluffy so I use setting 3. One waffle is almost 4 pancakes so I can only eat half for breakfast.

I am loving this Chefman waffle maker. It makes terrific waffles without having to grease the surface. The nonstick surface is truly nonstick. The size and doneness of the waffles is an upgrade from my little Dash waffle maker (which I also love). You can opt for soft and light waffles to crispy and dark simply by turning the dial. Clean-up is super easy ( just wipe with a damp cloth/ paper towel after it cools down. It locks and stores vertically, making it a great option when space is an issue. I've included interior pics with a ruler so, you can see the size of the waffles it makes, as well as exterior pics for storage purposes. I can't believe it only cost $14.98 before tax. It's a real steal at this price! I would highly recommend that you hurry and get it before the price goes up!

This is a great Waffle Maker! I love the overflow, easy wipeout. I started at 5 a tad bit too soft for me. Went to 6, took the waffle out a minute before the blue light went off the perfect crispy texture. No oil spraying needed. Measuring cup takes out the guesswork.

I make gluten free waffles and chaffles. (Cheese and egg waffles, no flour) and cornbread waffles. These things stick if you don’t have a good waffle maker. Even with my $120 pampered chef one stuck! This one didn’t and has deep pockets for syrup and butter. This is the best one I’ve ever had and cheaper than a fast food meal!

Great little waffle maker. First time using one like this and like it better than the expensive flip one a previous roomy had. Easy to clean and no stick. Every waffle came out perfect and evenly done. Has several settings for how brown/crispy you want your waffle. The enclosed measuring cup hooks on the side of my mixing bowl. Cooks waffles fairly quick and heats right back up. Blue light turns off while cooking and turns back on when done. There is some slight steam so I use my oven mitt to unclip to open/close. You have to plug and unplug it to turn on/off. Let it cool down and I wiped it clean with a damp paper towel. Cord wraps on bottom and unit takes up very little storage space. It did have an odor on first heat up (what you'd expect from this type of cooking unit) so I threw away first waffle. No further odor afterwards. Comes with easy to follow operation/safety tips manuals. Has a couple recipes too. I'm very pleased with my purchase. I used a waffle mix and in less than 20 minutes (including mixing and heat up time) I had 6 full size waffles. Really like the overflow lip. I froze rest of them for heat up for another day. Not bad for six days worth of breakfasts.

Love the anti-overflow feature. Love the adjustable heat setting. Only downside is that it isn’t very big, but it still works great and I’m happy with the purchase.

I purchased 3 to give as x-mas presents and kept one for myself. I like the anti overflow feature and cord wrap hooks. Easy stand up for compact storage. The only reason I did not rate 5 stars is because I wish it would beep to alert when the red light comes on when cooking time is complete.

On my first attempt my waffle dough expanded — by a LOT. The really generous overflow channel couldn’t handle it and it turned into a mess. While the heating plates were a dream to clean, the outside is extremely hard to get clean because the surface is not smooth and literally grabs on to sticky stuff. It took more than an hour to get it all off and I’m still finding little specks stuck on. Very unfortunate choice of material for the outside of a waffle maker. I guess I’ll just have to be a lot more careful to never let things overflow again. The waffles that come out? Fantastic! The blue “Ready” light tells you accurately when it’s hot enough and then when your waffle is done. Could not be easier.

This Waffle Iron is easy to use, but you don't get thick Waffles, you could cook 2 of these to make 1 waffle from my old waffle iron, which died after many years of use.

Disappointing at best. Doesn't create crispy waffles. They are also very thin and don't come close to a restaurant quality. Very disappointed that it doesn't come with any recipes. I would think Chefman would provide a useful recipe to enjoy their product. Save your money. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone. But the price was right, shame about the product.
