I absolutely love this. I've used it almost every day since I've gotten it. It's so quick and easy to use and I love the look of it as well. I've used it for tea, hot chocolate, and instant noodles and oatmeal. This was a birthday present to myself and I am so happy I got it.
Placed this electric tea kettle on a small table with tea bags, hot chocolate, spoons and mugs in our family room. Now in the evenings when we are relaxed and watching tv everything we need is within reach without having to go to the kitchen and miss part of the tv show we are Maybe we are just lazy. Heats up rapidly and water gets a lot hotter in shorter time than using the microwave. It looks really nice and only time will tell how good the quality is, but so far I love it.
Have been using it constantly. Very rapid boiling, which is very appreciated. I’m disabled so I need all the help I can get. I’ve used it to make tea and make coffee and hot chocolate and Ramen soup and even boil eggs ! It has been so nice. I bought its Sister version with the diffuser. I hope it holds up a long time because it’s really helpful and it’s got a very handy lid. It’s easy to clean and I like the 360 rotatable spinning, handy platform good size good transparency, good weight. ! Good job and good price at the holidays!
I would not heat milk in it because it cans ab or potentially damage the pot but i did everything else. I boiled eggs in it. I cooked pasta in it. I boiled water for instant coffee, tea, and for soup dishes. I did sauces, carefully of course. It is just a great necessity for places without full kitchen accessibility. I love it
I've been using the kettle for almost a year now on a daily basis, and functionally it works great I get boiling water pretty quick so I can't complain. But, the handle leaves much to be desired, whenever the kettle is full of water, lift it off of its base, or being poured, it is constantly wanting to tip forward due to the design of the smooth round handle. I understand people like things to look nice, but if they would have squared off the inside of the handle with a flat top and a straight drop, it would be a much firmer grip instead of wanting to constantly tip and slide through your grip forward.
It looked like a nice piece, but when I used it the first tome, it was boiling so aggressively and could not stop it until I inplugged the appliance. Dangerous and not recommended. Returned it.
Nothing wrong with the product itself. But Walmart app was very misleading (deceiving) when it showed the item priced $14.97 in the App while I was present in the store. While I was in the store the item showed as "in-store" with Aisle number etc. I went the aisle and picked it up. At the cash register the item rings as $24.99 (which was ridiculous). I had requested first the cashier, then the store manager, if they could match the app price $14.97. They flat-out rejected it. They said that in order to get the App price, I need to buy it in the app and pick it up in the parking lot outside. Since I was already at the cash register with the item in hand, I requested again if they can make an exception. Store manager (who was a young and probably inexperience woman appeared to be end of her shift, tired and wanting to go home) rolled her eyes and muttered some insult under her breath. Clearly she didn't want to deal with a customer who had the audacity to request online price match, at the cash register. Then she called in a "bouncer" looking associate who engaged in a staring down and verbal warnings routine for a little bit. In the end, I left the store not purchasing the item from that store (Chino, CA). The whole experience made me think that even though walmart does have low prices, you do get what you pay for in terms of customer experience (probably the worst store in the country when it comes to positive customer experience). Later I bought the item from Pomona-CA store using the App. I understand that sometimes retailers have an online price and a higher in-store price, but this is a lesson for your Store staff and your App/customer-experience people. App/CX people: When your app does recognize that the customer is already in the store, your app SHOULD NOT show the ONLINE price by default, this is very misleading. The App knows my location and activates the in-store availability based on the store I am in, then why not just show the in-store price and avoid confusion? common sense!! Store Staff: (a) You must have some discretionary power to match the online prices in exceptional cases where customer is already at the register with the item, and is also buying hundreds of dollars' worth of other items at stores prices (b) when you don't have the power do price-match, at least treat the customer with respect and empathy, rather than off-loading your frustrations, taking a physically threatening posture, and issuing verbal warnings to customer to exit the store. (c) Do a better job with shelf price labeling.. this it had no shelf price label.
The product has a very short cord (3") could not have the heating element reach the counter top. The user guide stated that a longer cord was available by contacting company. When I did that customer service chat was not helpful. Did not know the product or the user guide. Told me to use an extension cord, because they did not sell a longer cord. What a crock. This item will be returned. DO NOT BUY if your outlets are over 2" above counter top.
Kettle worked for approximately 3 weeks after delivery. Kettle seemed to work fine but has since stopped working completely. We were using the kettle up to twice a day, but mainly just first thing in the morning. I do jot recommend, as this kettle didn't last a month.
I was substituted a model that was discontinued. upon the first use I immediately found out that it was defective and the mechanism that shuts it off when it starts boiling didn't work. just created a dangerous spewing volcano of liquid that didn't even allow my hands to go near the pot to turn it off or unplug it without being burned. Even worse I contacted the manufacturer to see if I could get a replacement and let them know about the defective product and the customer service has been extremely slow and they really don't seem to care at all. it has been almost a month and I'm still waiting to for the replacement which is supposed to be in the mail I never received a tracking number which I was told I would. all in all I have dedicated way too much time to drama %26 problems when I just wanted to simply purchase a product.
