First polisher, never even used one before. Did as chemical guys and other detailers videos showed and it was really straighforward. Easy to use, not heavy. Amazing results. Left before and after photos of my car.
I'm no pro far from it but dang it does a heck of a job!!! My 04 Mustang GT and 12 Honda civic both black cars came out so good! I use Maguires ultimate compound and wax and some eBay yellow( more) foam buffing pads. The price at 69.00 hello! It sold everywhere I could find for well over 200 . Thank you Walmart!
Great for beginners. I debated on a few models from CG but decided on this one. Watch their review video on their YouTube channel where they compare all polishers and make your decision based on that. This is a little on the heavier side but you get used to it.
Even though I have not used it the negative reviews made it sound like a purchase I would not want. But after checking it out in my hand it seems great hopefully it will perform as well as it looks.
Walmart had an unheard-of price on this. It's one of the best orbital long-throw DAs you can buy in my opinion. For the average Joe, it'll last a lifetime.
Happy as could be with my purchase! This was a want and a need that I thought about purchasing for a while. During the holidays a discount made me jump on the opportunity and boy am I so happy that I did! Since receiving it my husband has been polishing our cars more often and much faster, he loves the ease and flow of this. Thanks so much!
This is a decent polisher. I wouldn't recommend for a seasoned detailer, though. There are better options out there for those experienced in paint correction. I bought it for the cheaper price. It is definitely great for the guy that details his own vehicles. It should last a while with little usage. It produces decent results for what it is.
Decent product, but it doesn't compare to another one I have. It's not as strong and it has lower RPM. I can get the job done faster with the other one.
My item came but I can tell it has been used ! There was residue on it. Pictures were from me just taking it out of the box . I'm probably going to return it
All the 5 star reviews are bought, phony and "incentivized". I've detailed for over 20 years. I bought this because it was allegedly $269 and on sale for $69, it came up as a suggested or recommended item. So I said why not. This is not even worth the $69, and nobody sells it for $269, it's usually $150-190. Build quality is very bad with gaps and sharp seams. Vibration and weight balance are some of the worst I've felt, even worse than the brands you can pronounce online. No rubber grip on the handle, just hard plastic where you will hold it for hours. The on off switch is horrendous. There's plenty of better options for under $100, and if anyone spent $269 on this and kept it, they must have never used or seen a good polisher before. The only YouTube reviews are from Chemical Guys themselves, and the fact 90% of the reviews here are bought is just shady and dishonest. Returning it.
