Chesapeake Seagrass Area Rug with Sage Border (24"x36")

I purchased this rug to go under our dining table as the theme is bumble bee %26 honey as I needed black trim and neutral middle. I received it in 1 week and 2 days not too bad. Not made for barefoot as the texture is rough.. I love the clean look it gives under table.

I had been searching for a rug to go under my new dining table and ran across this one. I was a little worried about how it would hold up to a three year old but no worries. I researched how to best clean seagrass and natural fiber rugs first. After several meals and drops of tomato laden pasta it still looks great. Didn't like the smell but it dissapates after a few days. A quick run of the vacuum and you're set. I do suggest maybe if you have pets, especially young puppies or kittens this may not be a good idea. A loose fiber or two may be too tempting for them. But it suits my family very well.

This rug is great! I love the color, the material and how it brightens up my dining room. It also has a light "freshly mowed lawn" smell when it is first unrolled that I found very pleasant...however, it disappears after a couple of days.

The price and value was great! I had shopped many other sites and stores, and could not quite find what I was looking for, but this rug is exactly right.

Lovely rug. Arrived earlier then anticipated. I unrolled it and left it in my garage for a few days as it had a grassy smell which would have overpowered my home. When I placed it in the home the odor had dissappated.

I bought this rug in the black trim for our entryway and couldn't be happier with my purchase. This rug was an excellent price and it adds so much to our home. So far it has held up well and cleans nicely. I would recommend this rug for indoor use. It did have a bit of a smell when it arrived, but after a week the smell went away. A good purchase!

It arrived very quickly. It has a very firm texture.

same as description. Quality looks good. We shall see how it wears in the future.

Had a rug like this many years ago. It was at a busy entry door . Happy to have found another one. Plan on purchasing a larger one for covered porch

The main reason I'm giving this rug such a low rating is because I was expecting it to be a great choice for a patio. Seagrass and sisel rugs are generally considered good for outdoor use. This one has a latex backing - most certain to flake and peel off when the sun dries it out. The care label reads, "Spot clean only" - meaning that it isn't meant to get wet (I'm guessing this is because of the backing). So, if you want the look of seagrass INDOORS and it won't see a lot of dirt, you may like this. Has a green tint with a canvas-type fabric trim and a "beachy" feel - if you're looking for that sort of décor. I like the way it looks, but it doesn't work for a patio so I returned it.
