Chevron Techron High Mileage Fuel System Cleaner, 12 oz

I am not usually a big proponent of fuel additives but this has proven to be an effective product. we had a sticking fuel gauge on one of our vehicles and two rounds of this treatment cleared up the problem. I will use it in the future as a preventative treatment.

My car is now 24 years old. And I keep up with all my cars needs. I filled up with gas which out here in Cali is a bank loan needed at times. The next day I had a doctor's appointment and glanced at my gauge and sitting in my garage over night I was down a 1/4 tank. I knew my dogs had not taken my car out for a pup cup so I took it to my mechanic 🧰. He told me to first try Techroline. So I just put it in after Church this morning. I'll see if my gauge returns to its normal carefree floating position after 2 uses of it. If it does it will save me over $300 for a new sending unit for the gas tank. Walmart only charges just over $10 which is still much less that $300. Even in this mathemathilly challenged days. So I will do this again when I need gas and let you know if it works. I guess out here with gas over $4.50 a gallon buying on a good day giggles. Chevron gas today was $5.59. I am sure it would not hurt but help. Chevron is the only gas that cleans your engine while using it! Techron is the detergent that will clean up the insides of the engine when the engine is running. This stuff really works. Use Chevron gas for keeping your engine clean. I am a real person and want everyone to use this for their vehicles. Pay st the pump or pay at the mechanic... This fuel cleaner is the answer for many issues that affect older cars. The bottle may seem small, but it is the only stuff that really makes the engine cleaner, guaranteed. I'm hoping this will help my car to pass the smog check... If, I can leave follow up review, I will add the test results.

Techron is one of the only fuel additives that actually cleans fuel injectors. When you add a cleaner to fuel, it has to have PEA. That is the only chemical that breaks down the carbon deposits into smaller particles and flushes it out of the system. There are two other brands that do this, one is stronger, and one is weaker. If I have a really bad problem with carbon deposits I will use RedLine, the strongest PEA additive. That works, but you have to watch the results because it can take a few tanks to clear it out of the system. Techron has the perfect amount of PEA to solve general build-up. It is also good as a preventative to use every six months. Techron also does not contain additives that can harm your engines. Most of the other brands without PEA contain Acetone which can damage your catalytic converter and O2 sensors. Using any of them will trade a problem of fouled injectors into an expensive repair that can cost thousands of dollars. USE TECHRON to protect your car and clean the injectors.

I use this.I started using this because the brand I was using previous to this.I don't know, it just seemed like something had been taken out of it.It wasn't working as effectively. I read recommendations online because I always try and find out as much about something before. I buy it. This seems to work fairly well. I have an older car. It has high miles. I constantly try and keep my fluids up. That's what I was taught when I first started driving. No matter what vehicle you have, won't you know the condition of it? And you keep it up, you always keep your fluids up. So as cars get older, sometimes they need a little help in terms of keeping the pistons. Clean the just all of it, gas pistons, everything. So I use an additive, and it usually helps the car. Sometimes when it's a little bit slow and sluggish, it helps to clean Oh, and give the car a little bit more power. I should buy it more regularly though. But I don't always get a chance to get the online order or else myself up there. I would recommend this to try because it's right now to roll back price. Even at the regular price, it's still reasonable. It's not quite 16 oz. It's 12, which is still okay, but it does work if you're having severe in all sluggishness before you dry and find out about your transmission. I would try 2 bottles. Maybe not all at once and try and make sure your tank is close to empty as possible. Because you want to be able to With this particular brand try and get it into the system. Is, you know faster and if your tank is full, it's gonna get in there. But it's going to, you know, be a little bit more not diluted, but it's just better. It's faster, so yes, I'd recommend it. I buy it still. I just bought some just a couple days ago. I should have bought 2 bottles cause I hadn't been driving for a while. I'm a little bit sluggisher, but it's a very good brand it helps the car get along and as your cars age. You need help. At least the cars that were made before they started making these high bird and electric battery cars. If you have a normal gas car, then as the years gone, it's going to need a little help. So Give it a try.This brand may help you.I'm not guaranteeing it because different brands sometimes do different things for different cars, but I would recommend trying it

This is something you HAVE to do every 3K miles on any modern direct fuel injection (or any other) car to avoid expensive repairs. This keeps your engine running smooth, cleans the entire fuel system (gas pump, gas lines, injectors, etc.) so it doesn't clog or anything. If you haven't done a fuel clean up in a while you will notice the difference. Then keep on doing it.

I've used this Chevron product for years . it is one of the fuel system cleaners that you can actually tell the difference in your vehicles performance. This is great to get better gas mileage , especially now that gas prices are so high. Just open the container and pour in your tank Thats it ! Keep or regain that lost performance and mileage by cleaning your fuel system. Great product , which I highly recommend.

I like that it has helped clean the fuel system. I no longer have stalls. It did take 2 tanks full and 2 bottles of the Chevron cleaner for this to have a change. I plan on adding it to my tank 2x a year for maintenance. I have 85K on my car and it requires 91 octane so having an improvement even for the cost of the cleaner is well worth it.

I've spent the last 20 years trying all the many brands of fuel additives/cleaners (including the professional "kits" supplied only to auto repair shops), and the clear winners are Techron and Redline. Techron costs less, so now I use it regularly. Just one bottle of this stuff can fix problems you would never expect. I once had a car failing federal emissions testing with an OBD code for Transmission Range Sensor malfunction. One bottle of Techron in the tank, drive about 150 miles, and boom, passed the test. Rough idle? Could be caused by a lot of things, but always try a bottle of this before taking apart the engine.
