Chevron Techron High Mileage Fuel System Cleaner, 12 oz

Techron is one of the only fuel additives that actually cleans fuel injectors. When you add a cleaner to fuel, it has to have PEA. That is the only chemical that breaks down the carbon deposits into smaller particles and flushes it out of the system. There are two other brands that do this, one is stronger, and one is weaker. If I have a really bad problem with carbon deposits I will use RedLine, the strongest PEA additive. That works, but you have to watch the results because it can take a few tanks to clear it out of the system. Techron has the perfect amount of PEA to solve general build-up. It is also good as a preventative to use every six months. Techron also does not contain additives that can harm your engines. Most of the other brands without PEA contain Acetone which can damage your catalytic converter and O2 sensors. Using any of them will trade a problem of fouled injectors into an expensive repair that can cost thousands of dollars. USE TECHRON to protect your car and clean the injectors.

Chevron is the only gas that cleans your engine while using it! Techron is the detergent that will clean up the insides of the engine when the engine is running. This stuff really works. Use Chevron gas for keeping your engine clean. I am a real person and want everyone to use this for their vehicles. Pay st the pump or pay at the mechanic... This fuel cleaner is the answer for many issues that affect older cars. The bottle may seem small, but it is the only stuff that really makes the engine cleaner, guaranteed. I'm hoping this will help my car to pass the smog check... If, I can leave follow up review, I will add the test results.

I am not usually a big proponent of fuel additives but this has proven to be an effective product. we had a sticking fuel gauge on one of our vehicles and two rounds of this treatment cleared up the problem. I will use it in the future as a preventative treatment.

​I pour a bottle of Techron High Mileage into my tank roughly every 3,000 miles when my gas level is almost empty. Since a lot of standard gas stations don't include strong detergent additives in their fuel, this gives my engine the extra boost it needs. It helps clean out built-up carbon deposits, keeps the engine running smooth and clean, and seems to help with fuel efficiency as well. Highly recommend for keeping higher-mileage vehicles running great!

I'm going off what I've seen on YouTube. I've seen some pretty extensive videos on the testing of this product. I've been using it for about 4 years in my pickup. It seems to increase the gas mileage a little for a few months after using it.

I've spent the last 20 years trying all the many brands of fuel additives/cleaners (including the professional "kits" supplied only to auto repair shops), and the clear winners are Techron and Redline. Techron costs less, so now I use it regularly. Just one bottle of this stuff can fix problems you would never expect. I once had a car failing federal emissions testing with an OBD code for Transmission Range Sensor malfunction. One bottle of Techron in the tank, drive about 150 miles, and boom, passed the test. Rough idle? Could be caused by a lot of things, but always try a bottle of this before taking apart the engine.

I did a lot of massive researching %26 watch multiple videos %26 studies on all top brands of fuels %26 fuel/system cleaners. From valves, to.pistons, to injectors, to catalytic converters, etc. Chevron gas %26 their Techtron detergent always came out at the top of list. This is because it is the only one that actually stays stable %26 viable all the way through to.exhaust. it has PEA chemical. most other brands just burn off at high temps long before it reaches where they claim it is going to clean. Since switching to this, my old Pathfinder %26 my older BMW run absolutely amazing %26 fuel economy shot way up on both.

WORKS VERY WELL. I WAIT UNTILL THE GAS TANK IS NEAR EMPTY, PUT A BOTTLE IN THE TANK, FILL THE TANK TO 1/4 CAPACITY, DRIVE UNTILL THE TANK IS NEAR EMPTY, THEN FILL THE TANK TO FULL. IT'S THE BEST FUEL SYSTEM CLEANER YOU CAN BUY. I'VE USED IT FOR YEARS.

I like that it has helped clean the fuel system. I no longer have stalls. It did take 2 tanks full and 2 bottles of the Chevron cleaner for this to have a change. I plan on adding it to my tank 2x a year for maintenance. I have 85K on my car and it requires 91 octane so having an improvement even for the cost of the cleaner is well worth it.
