OMG this is great salsa! Chunks of tomato and green bell pepper. Just a little zing but it is mild and lives up to that! I prefer mild. It's nice when companies actually live up to expectations. ChiChi's salsa has been my go-to for all my quick dinners. You can dress it up or down, like a pair of your favorite jeans.
I just ate it tonight. It's a must-have ingredient when I build my soft shell tacos. It has the perfect flavor, mild not hot, and perfect sized tomato chunks. I know that people use this as a chip dip with nachos, but I prefer my tacos for this.
I like a flavorful salsa with a rich, chunky texture. This salsa is perfect!! Seasoned perfectly , mild with a zesty taste. I love it!!! I highly recommend this product.
I'm use to buying a large bottle of this but I didn't see it offered. I have gotten it from Walmart before but it wasn't available. Chi-Chi's is my favorite salsa and I guess I'll just have to buy it more often. It has plenty of garden vegetables in it and it's just spicy enough for me. It's perfect for my taco salad and also great for dipping tortilla chips in .
This is by far my favorite brand of salsa. it's chunkier than pace claims to be. great value. Great texture. Great flavor. it's not spicy. sometimes you buy mild salsa, and it's not mild at all. i can't handle spicy food and this one doesn't disappoint.
My favorite salsa! I can't eat spicy, mostly because I never liked spicy and with age comes wisdom that if it burns, it's not good for the stomach acid and it's coming back up. With that said, this has great flavor like a restaurant but NOT spicy hot! It took me years to find a salsa that would agree with my stomach and this is it! I can only hope they continue to make it and NOT change the recipe because I don't know of another brand that is worthy of my cupboard. Over the years it seems when I find something I really like, it gets discontinued or they change the recipe but it's not usually an upgrade. Please for the love of the consumers who love this exact product and for those of us who can't tolerate spicy, DON'T mess with this brand or recipe, it's ONE OF A KIND! The consumer has spoken and pleaded. So I recommend this 100% unless you need spicy hot in your life. Then maybe try leveling up, but I wouldn't know about that heat. As far as quantity for the buck, I gave it 4 stars only because one jar is like 1-2 sittings for one person. It's affordable for us po'folk no doubt and I appreciate that very much so, but I can't stop once I get to dippin' and before I know it, it's gone. Stock up, you don't want to run out; it's like the end of the world for real! I also like to scoop some sour cream in the bowl and mix it, sometimes throw some shredded cheese mixed in. Yum. Also, it's good in a warm crockpot mixed like I said, add some pork sausage. Yeah you'll be dippin' like no tomorrow ;) You're welcome. But really, thank Chi-Chi's for this delight. I also recommend GV thin %26 crispy cantina style tortilla chips with it, they're restaurant quality and the perfect combination. You're welcome.
This is the only salsa I have found that I can eat that does not bother me. My tongue is very sensitive to spices and I almost gave up on eating salsa ever again when I found this. It has just enough bite to it and I can enjoy a normal serving without suffering from the heat (spice). Thank you!
This is excellent sauce. They are good on tacos, in salad, in casseroles and just with chips. It's super thick and tastes so good. Will continue to buy and the price is comparable to all name brands.
My husband loves this salsa. If you want spicy, do not get the mild! We like the mild flavor with tacos, taco salad and chips. I use it in scrambled eggs.
We actually did not care for the texture or taste of this product. We did get the mild flavor so we were not expecting any spicy flavors. But the salsa was runny and not thick at all.
