For my family’s Christmas Eve gathering, I used Chinet paper plates for desserts (8.75 in., 225 ct.) I had already bought the Chinet platters to use as dinner plates. Both products are exceptionally sturdy, and Sam’s price was very reasonable. I will definitely use this product again for the next gathering.
Plates are solid and are microwavable without melting. They look good on any table setting with any color scheme.
The China plates used to be of a premium quality. These plates certainly have deteriorated over the last couple years and are no longer of a premium quality, but still have a premium price.
This luncheon plate is a great size but questionable quality! First package I purchased, I returned as there was some plates were discolored and smeared with some stain. Sam's gladly returned my money for these. I purchased a second package......no stains but several plates do have spots where the paper is somewhat bubbled.
Great process, but not to a standard I would have thought for Chinet. Leak, not hold proof, & really not fit to heat food on, as any liquid seeps thru bottom. It's a no for me.
There were dark specs in the plates
Plates leaked though not good
When using, the paper plate bottom disintegrates if food that contains liquid (eg sauces, dressings, etc) sits on it too long. This is especially true if you also use a plastic knife to cut food that sits on top of plate also! How disappointing - especially since this is supposed to be a brand name company. Will not purchase these again.
Had fried chicken the grease went right through the plate
These plates are only good for cold items. Anything hot that makes a liquid will soak thru plate. Not good for microwave even though it says they are microwaveable. I won't purchase again.
