Cholula Smoky Chipotle - Hot Salsa, 12.0 oz Jar

Has a beautiful smoky chipotle flavor. Yes, it's nicely hot, robust smoky flavor, and you won't mistake it for medium salsa. Then again, I like it hotter than most medium salsa. It's a little on the thin/watery side without any added water, it's because of the fineness of the grind of the vegetables. Yet, water doesn't drip or run out of it, and you can still see the blend of fine pieces. I think the manufacturer has done really well with this. Also NOT added, preservatives, stabilizers or, thickeners. I suggest using within 7, at the most 10, days with consistent refrigeration. It's a fine chunk salsa, finer than Mexican restaurant salsa, not blended as fine as V8. 7 basic vegetable %26 herb ingredients. See picture for how it heaps, doesn't heap, on a spoon. I used it as an additive to food, not as a dip Would I buy this again? Yes, but, I'm more of a dipping/marinade sauce person. I will only buy this occasionally, when I really want the smoky flavor, which I do very much like with the heat of peppers.

This salsa had a great flavor. Just the right amount of smokiness. I thought it was great in a chip in burritos and enchiladas. That being said it's labeled hot and is not at all hot. It's a thin salsa.

I was able to try this delicious, Cholula brand Smoky Chipotle Hot Salsa thanks to BzzAgent. It was really good with a lovely texture and just the right amount of heat and smoke. It worked well on soft tacos, tortilla chips, and tamales. I would absolutely buy this product and continue to use it in my home. My father enjoyed it when he was here visiting, so I told him where to find it. Delicious and the perfect salsa for me!

I received Cholula Chipotle Salsa from BzzAgent, in exchange for my honest review. The salsa came in a 12 ounce jar. Nice texture of chunky tomatoes, and chipotle seeds. This salsa is on the hot side, but tastes great on tacos. Gives the tacos a smoky flavor.

This salsa was hotter than I like, but the chipotle flavor was amazing! My husband loved the heat, and said he'd gladly pay to eat it again! I look forward to trying a milder version of this as the chipotle flavor rally changes the salsa game for me!

I love the fresh taste! Taste like it was just canned. Flavor was spot on. Just enough Smokey and chipotle. Perfect blend. I'm not a huge Smokey flavor person so I probably wouldn't buy this flavor again but would definitely try a different flavor of this brand.

It wasn't anything special, it was great and I probably would purchase again. It just didn't do much to stand out to me. My family and friends loved it though, and I've already gifted one person a bottle of it!

SO DISAPPOINTED! This WAS my son's favorite authentic style salsa. The last time I made quesadillas, I pulled out “his” jar of salsa- only to discover MOLD! I had just purchased the jar weeks before! This was NOT our first purchase, as I stated, this WAS his favorite authentic tasting salsa. After this experience, I doubt I will be purchasing from this company again. I would gladly show a photo, but my son threw it out immediately.
