Clairol Root Touch-Up Nice'n Easy Permanent Hair Dye, 4G Dark Golden Brown, Hair Color, 1 Kt

I have used this for the first time. I have always been a dyed blonde in my adult years. I recently come across your very light blonde Root Touch up. I love it and will be using it forever!! I can't believe how perfect my roots were. The only thing I found difficult was using it at the back of my short bob hairstyle, I did try but I wasn't very successful.any advised on how I can find an easy way to colour the back of my hair.

Has this product shade (Medium Auburn 5R) been discontinued in the UK? It has not been available at any stocking outlets for some months now. I am having to substitute with the dark auburn, giving my hair an ombré look between full colours. Not ideal! Any information would be much apreciated!

I purchased this product a week ago, unsure how it would turn out. I have long blonde hair. My hairdresser isn't available due to illness. So only ever having the same hairdresser for 45 years I thought I would give it a go. Wow I am blown away by how well it's covered my roots. I have ordered a few more. I haven't tried doing the underneath as yet as I would need at least two packets. The price is fabulous too. I am very happy.

I love this product, unfortunately I've been unable to find it for some time in the dark brown shade. I didn't have to color my hair at all, just used it und it gave such color and great volume. I sure wish Clairol would bring it back. None of the other products come close to this one in easy of use and end result. Please bring it back!

This is the second time I have used this product, only been dyeing my hair last 3 years, because I wanted “ to go grey gracefully “ as I didn't have time to care for my roots. Normally I use cover sprays - until it gets too bad, and I still don't have time to go to the salon, so resort to this. This time went blonde and was little concerned , shouldn't have been. Delighted with results, especially as going on holiday tomorrow ,so no chance to dash to salon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So just a little background I have been dying my hair almost constantly for the past decade. And for anyone who dyes it that much, you understand the main frustration about it!! Root Regrowth!! In the past I would just get another pack of whatever colour I had used and bung it all on, which left a build up of colour and damage to the hair. With that in mind I thought I would give this a try. In terms of what you get in the box, its smaller amounts than you she in a regular hair colour box, obviously. But its also got this angled brush which in theory is met to get into those tight spots around your roots. Considering the size of the items inside, once its made up there is a fair amount of product. I had about an inch of roots to cover and there was plenty for that. Alot of hair colours tend to have a strong chemical smell and to me this one didnt. I also have a bad habbit of scratching my head when colouring, this did not irritate me any further nor did it stain my hands, when attacking an itch. Overall a brill product and great for any who needs a touch up, or if you have short pixie like hair you could just use it to colour all.

This is the first time I have used Root Touch-up. I bought Shade 8 Medium Blonde as this looked the closest colour to my hair from the colour chart on the web page of Clairol, and also the box. I tried out the colour test on a strand of cut hair, and thank goodness I did. The colour is more like light brown, not medium blonde at all. There is no way I can use this shade, it is so much darker than my roots.
