Classic Games Collection 15" Attache Backgammon Set

This is the perfect size board. The quality is very nice as we'll. I bought for my son who recently learned how to play in a club after school and he felt this game was nicer than some of the ones they use at school. Overall I am very happy with the price and quality.

My hubby and I enjoy playing this game together. I have been playing it on the computer for many years but it's so nice having someone to play it with.

I am so pleased with this backgammon set. When I searched the internet for sets, I found prices in the hundreds of dollars. Then I searched Walmart and found this one for under $30. The quality is exactly what I had hoped to find; so close to the set I had in the 70's. The game pieces are a little lightweight, but if you are playing in a reasonably clam environment, you should not have any problem. If you purchase this set, I do not think you will be disappointed.

The attaché is of acceptable quality and appears to be reasonably durable. My only fault with this version is that the printed game rules that are included with the game are not very well written, so you'll need to learn how to play the game from other sources.

The set is very nicely put together and sturdy. its a little more gray than blue as the picture but my problem was there were not enough game pieces. we are short by one of each color.

Good price. However, I got this to replace one I previously owned. The pieces are a little smaller than my other standard game. Still fully functional and a nice game for the price. They do not sell this in stores that I've seen, only available on-line.

Is this a top of the line backgammon board? No. But for Twenty-one dollars and some change, you will not find anything better. Even after reading the positive reviews I was still surprised when I opened it up at how nice it looks. For a casual player, it is a pretty decent set and suits me just fine. I really like the gray tone colors too. All the other inexpensive boards I looked at were done in unpleasant brown tones. The 15" size is perfect as well. Not as big and clunky as the tournament size, but still big enough to have a nice game, unlike the smaller ones.

This backgammon set is nice for the price. It looks just as it appears in the listing. It's made so so. The thing I don't like is the “points” are not not flush with the felt board. So, when moving the chips around you can't slide them. You kind of have to pick up. This is good for beginners or for someone that just wants to learn. It's NOT a real Quality set for the more seasoned player. A really good set can run $100 or more. You get what you pay for. Happy playing!
