Really great on sandwiches - not too thick, not too thin. They hold together better and longer in the fridge than the spears do - spears cores get mushy sometimes. I use these alongside a sandwich, too, when I don't want a pickle actually on the sandwich like when packing lunches. Give them a try!
I’m picky about pickles, but Claussen Kosher Dill Sandwich Slices are my gold standard. They’re crisp enough to snap, perfectly tangy, and make every sandwich taste like it came from a deli. I’ve tried others, but nothing beats the fresh crunch of Claussen.
this is definitely my favorite pickle brand these are the only ones in my opinion that are crisp with a good taste and I like these thin sliced ones the best honestly I think they taste really good these are my favorite and I recommend everybody else eat these ones too
Well, I was intend to order the wedges. I like them a little better but after I got those slices that was just as good, but I think I ordered the wrong ones but still in all it turned out great.
I have had this brand of pickles many times but had never gotten the slices - they are perfect for placing on sandwiches and are crunchy %26 tasty. I will by buying again.
I don’t always eat dill pickles, but when I do I eat Claussen Kosher dills. I’d buy them more if they weren’t so expensive. I used to like vlassic and a couple others but they have gone down hill so much. Others definitely don’t have the crispness or taste of Claussen Kosher.
I am a huge fan of dill pickles, and have been for all of my life, always having a jar or two in my fridge at all times. Once I discovered Claussen, there was no going back. I even enjoy their mini pickles and I'm usually not a fan of the smaller pickles. I only have two gripes, one are the price of these pickles and the other is the availability of them. There are other cheaper brands of pickles but you won't find the crunch like you do with these. If you can find these in your store, definitely give them a try and if you find their whole pickles, buy a few jars, those are next to impossible to find in my area. I like their whole pickles for hamburgers (I like my pickles thin) or the chips when I can't get whole (be forewarned, they're thick), the sandwich pickles for pastrami sandwiches and the spears for snacking on. The juice is also good for upset tummies and great for marinating.
I have bought Claussen many times, but this last time I bought these, they were very soggy not crunchy at all. I spent a lot of money on these pickles and I did not care for them. I decided to try the Cleveland Kitchen spears from Walmart in the refrigerator section and they're delicious and taste better so I'm gonna stick with those. I also bought the pickle chips from Cleveland kitchen and they're awesome too, a little pricey but it's worth it.
My delivery was not cold in fact is was lukewarm and it might have ruined the flavor of theses pickles when I ate one it had an interesting flavor cinnamon-ish so on that alone I will not repurchase. They are still sitting in my refrigerator and no one has tried to eat one since. But 2 jars of halves have been demolished.
i would love to give a wonderful review however the last 3 TIMES i have ordered this product to be delivered i was told it was out of stock and therefore it was never delivered. I went to the store myself and what do you know it WAS instock just the packer that was pulling my order either didnt know they are kept in the cooler and not on a shelf so it would be helpful if you trainer your pullers to know where a product is instead of just saying its out of stock!!!!! DO BETTER WALMART!!! signed upset paying for this delivery service customer
