Clear, Varathane Triple Thick Matte Polyurethane-304588, Quart

I went on the web to find videos on refinishing desks and found that a reputable DIYer really loved this product. I used it and I'm really happy with the results. I took my time to apply and let dry, I applied many layers for a good protective finish. It was easy to use and didn't create overwhelming odors during work. There is no smell now that it's dry.

I absolutely love the triple thick polyurethane. Two coats and it makes the piece look amazing. My go to polyurethane for woodwork.

Quality product when instructions are followed- I still use more than one coat but it definitely saves time and energy over the standard!

I prefer this product because it goes on thicker. Does a nice smooth job with less coats. Used for my 2x8 open shelves and worked very nicely

Quickly and easily coats. Dries to a nice finish. Simple soap and water clean up.

This is by far the easiest poly that I've used to apply. When used with a paint pad I've seen no streaks or blemishes in my finished product.

For what it is it's a useful product. It doesn't give you the fine finish that you'll get with layers of regular thin polyurethane. I mix the triple thick with paint for a wash type effect and finish with unaltered polyurethane of typical consistency.
