These drop cloths are my go to when doing any project and I use them to cover my flower beds when temps go below freezing. Versatile is what they are….can use for anything really. They are thin, but I prefer thin since paint doesn't soak through them and they are easy to manage.
These are great. Separate easily. Stay in place. Nice thickness. Fair price. Definitely waterproof! Does the job I wanted them for. They are a little hard to find!
I needed to protect my floors during a renovation
Very large. Kept thinking as I was pulling out of box it was going to perferate. But it was much larger than expected which was perfect to cover my patio set for painting. Held up well for many days as long as I had it secured.
Works like it should!
It's a good product and it mets my needs.
Works very well for painting covering furniture etc
I'm not sure what is being implied by "self-cling". It says less taping so I thought the plastic would cling to surfaces. It does not cling to anything that i usedit to cover (carpet, table, tile). On the bright side, its handy to have multiple cloths when needed and the perforations are convenient, although they could be at shorter intervals for small jobs. All in all, they work like other drop cloths.
I could never find anything that would have the plastic stick to the floor. It is very wide when you unfold the plastic. I never found the lines to tear the protector. Very difficult to do anything with it
So....you see the name - Self-Cling Drop Cloths, if you are like me, you are imagining that these are giant sheets of a Press-n-Seal type material, but you would be VERY WRONG. These are giant sheets of wispy, flyaway, thinner than a public restroom trash bag, fight with it for 20 minutes to get it flat, which will never happen, feel defeated and not have another option so you put off painting AGAIN. If you plan to use these on a floor, DO NOT, you will slip and fall because they are so thin they don't lay flat and the creases still in them provide the perfect slippery experience. I have found that these do cling to tables and hard surfaces extremely well when sprayed with water (but not something most people want to do.....), I learned this b/c I used one to drape a table to do some floral arranging on, only in this situation did I see the "cling", other than when you walk over them you better "cling-on" to something! I can see them being useful to drape over furniture and other things that they can completely drape over (like a ghost), maybe even for plants during a frost), but if you are thinking they are any sort of floor drop-cloth or replacement for a canvas or brown paper floor covering, that they are not. Husky: Rename this product, update the graphics to better reflect the use of this product, it's mis-leading. I am sure this is a great product for it's intended purpose, but that isn't what the packing is leading people to buy it for, which results in unnecessary waste, loss of time and money which then equals upset customers and loss of faith in the Husky product line overall.
