This is a very good filter system for shore water for an RV. Its small size is great when traveling. The only problem is it plastic connection are very easy to cross thread. The pre filter stops the sediment from getting in your in line filter. That makes your in line filter last longer.

This filter works very well for us. We combine it with the 5 micron Clear 2O smaller filter, and we love the results! We like how the DirtGUARD filter itself can be back-flushed rather than replaced. That makes it so convenient. We will definitely be sticking with Clear 2O and their filters!

Ive been full time rving for about 5 years and almost from the being i tried clear20 1 micron inline filter. then they came out with the 20micron prefilter loved both those. now i got the 10 mircon pre filter. i love and my whole family all clear2o products!!

This is my second CLEAR2O Dirt Guard. The first one worked well until I dropped it and it cracked. I am sure this one will work just as well.

Being new to the RV world, I wanted to ensure water is adequately filtered. Based on reviews, I hope this pre-filter does the trick. Only time will tell if the unit holds up, and does not break.

Awesome product. Have used the other small filter without this and particles/coloring remains. With this from week to pool is clear water

This is purely on Walmart got it home and found the wrench and hose extension missing.
