Easy set up and works extremely well - because of my home layout it actually is facing AWAY from my local towers but still brings in an excellent signal and a host of stations. A simple device that works as advertised. Very happy with it and now I can “cut the cord”!
'Hands Down' the 'BEST' antenna at a 'GREAT' price!!! I have 'Cut The Cable!!!' No longer use Cable Service?!!! Saving money 'Big Time!!!' I have spread the word to family and friends! You Need This!
Great for an indoor antenna. I've tried many over the years and had variety of issues with all. After elevating it higher, it picks up all the major channels with great clarity and many more.
We moved about 20 miles further away from Phoenix's transmitters on South Mountain than we had been and my old indoor antenna wasn't getting it done (maybe 44 channels at best and going in and out). Was able to install the MAX-V outside, though below the roofline (talk to the HOA) and are now pulling in 118 digital channels, and the troublesome channel 12 is crisp and clear.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed in attic on old wooden handle. No problems. Works well. Picks up towers 60 m away reliably. Good phone support when I had a question. Used with a 4th gen Tablo (has built in signal amplifier).
Installed this in our second home which is quite remote. The channels it provides us is as expected. We tried two other competitive Antennas, and they were not as nearly effective. The range is good, provides a good picture / signal and was easy to install.
Had a indoor flat pad indoor antenna (80 mile range) which was recommend to us. It picked up only 3 local stations that we could watch. Had to be perfect weather conditions to watch them. CU recommend this as one of the best. Only has a sixty mile range. After installing it, I got about 30 local stations that I can watch, even in rain and snow. Night and day between the two. Installed it inside the house, looks ok where it is.
Antenna is very easy to install. I received 142 channels with clear reception. My only concern is this is a UHF only antenna and I needed a UHF/VHF antenna to receive the NBC & CBS broadcasts. I live in a mountainous area and was surprised with the reception quality.
doesn't come with mount,or cable.other antennas tune in 35 to 45 channels depending on area, was able to get 58 to 68 channels, very pleased with this one, looking for another one with mount kit, remember rg6 cable for best reception and long distance.have mine atleast 35 ft up,when raining, lower incase of lightning.day time gets less reception, night time best reception.
I live in a condo complex facing west where all my tv towers are north. Surprisingly I still picked up a half dozen stations. So I don't fault the antenna just my position to get stations. I'm going to try some different windows since I'm on the ground floor.
